shape used in an artwork
b. Draw an artwork using the components of artwork
c. State the importance of components of an artwork

Materials: PowerPoint slide presentations, laptop, pictures, bond papers

Our lesson for today is all about


the design, color and patterns
used in the artwork

“Okay class, when we are talking


about the components of an
artwork, we are to focus on its
primary element which are:
Design, colors and patterns.”

in art?”

definition.” “An outline, sketch, or plan as of
the form and structure of a work
of art, an edifice, or a machine to
be executed or constructed. “

the definition of color in art.? “Color is a basic element of art
that involves light. It is produced
when light strike an object and
are reflected into our eyes.”

“And in addition to that. Each


light gives off different
wavelength producing different
kinds of colors that we can see in
our own eyes.”

might find a pattern in a series of
numbers, in the material covering
your couch, or in the habits of
your upstairs neighbor. The noun
pattern could refer to a design or

additional three components
that are needed to be considered
in an artwork. These are the
shapes, texture, and contrast of
colors. Kindly pay attention to

towards the new elements that
