HOMEWORK CLASS 3

Dear students,
‘Summer vacation is the most awaited time for parents and kids alike. However ,our
responsibilities get double to keep our children active.
We hope your homework and activities will be well managed and presented so that all
of you earn a golden star as a grade.
We wish you a wonderful time ahead!!!
Good habits and good manners are life long assets and manners must be practiced
until they become a habit.
Four magic words that are basic of good manners are :- Please, Thank you, Excuse me
and Sorry. Make these four words a habit and see the difference.

• Encourage your child to converse in English.


• Encourage your child to draw, colour, cut and paste. This improves
their creativity.
• Help them revise all the concepts done so far.
• Be independent and learn to do some works on your own.

HYGIENE:-
*Brush your teeth twice a day.
*Do trims your nails often.
*Do not waste water and electricity.
*Keep your surrounding and environment clean. It is a bad habit to throw things out
of the window, car or a balcony.

Subject - English


Write a paragraph on your favourite season.


Do one page writing in English notebook everyday .
Read two pages daily from your English (Marigold) and write hard words in your
notebook.
Make a 10 flash card of opposite words (roll no. 20- 25)
Make a chart of Synonyms (roll no. 25 to 31)

Write the plural form of the give given nouns:-

Let’s create some happy memories!!

• Make ‘ Nimbu Paani’ ( lemonade) for your family.


Don’t forget to click pictures. Paste them on A4 sheet.
And always be hydrated, at least drink 7-8 gelasses of water everyday .
• Water the plants around your house everyday .
• Draw or paste 5 source of water. (Roll no.1 to 5)
• Draw and colour the solar system and their name .( chart or model)(roll
no. 5 to 10)
• Draw a plant and label its parts(roll no. ( 10 to 15)

Subject G.K
Learn and write down the names of state of India and their capitals .

Subject - Maths
• Write and learn tables 2 to 10 and write 5 times in your notebook.
• Write and learn number names 100 to 150.
• Write 10 three digit number of your choice on a small piece of paper .
Then write its successors and predecessor on another small piece of paper like a
flash card .

• Make a chart to show time roll no. (15 to 20)
