COC1-
o Remove hard drive, power supply, front panel, cmos battery on desktop pc
o Assemble the parts and conduct testing
o Set boot sequence into the BIOS
o Prepare and create bootable using flash drive
o Create a partition hard drive C:60%, D40 and install operating system on client and
server computer
o Install appropriate drivers
o Install software application pdf reader, usb guard, browser, media player and anti
virus
COC2-
o Design and draw network layout using the blank paper.
o Create t568A and connect using your designed network layout with the following
cable measurement.
-2 Client/Server (PC) to Modular Box – 2m
-2 Client/Server (Modular Box) to Patch Panel – 1m
-2 Client/Server (Patch Panel to Switch Hub) – 0.5m
-1 router to patch Panel – 0.5m
-1 router’s to patch Panel to Hub – 0.5m
-1 WAP - 0.5m
-1 WAP to patch panel - 0.5m
-1 Wap Patch Panel to Hub - 0.5m
o Conduct testing on wires/cables connectivity
o Configure the routers IP Address using Class A
o Setup router’s SSID using trainee’s name and set password to Css@12345
o Setup WAP’s SSID using trainers’s name and set password to Css@1234
o Conduct testing on router’s SSID and WAP’s SSID connections
o Setup Network Firewall
o Configure internet connections and conduct testing with Media Access Control in
router

o Assign computer name of Client using your FIRST NAME


o Assign computer name of Server using your LAST NAME
o Use Class A Static IP Address on Server and Dynamic IP Address on Client computer
o Conduct testing on connectivity between client and server using PING command

COC3-
o Install Active Directory Service based on the above IP Address with domain name:
CSS.org
o Install Domain Name Server (DNS)
-Install new zone in Reverse lookup zone and use new resource record for host ip
address and and host name
o Install DHCP
o Install File Services and create folder using the directory format: Drive D/E:
Users/Account
-Use domain users and full control in share permission tab of folder Account
o Configure File Resource Manager, select audio, video and executable files
o Configure folder redirection, under the user configuration select desktop, Picture
and music
o Create 2 users Account: Trainees Name and Trainers Name
o Conduct testing and perform file and printer sharing as follows:
-Install printer to Server and share printer /add to client
-Provide sample text document in notepad using your data and print:

COC4-
o Plan and Prepare for maintenance using blank form
o Identify fault/defect and possible cause of defect in computer systems and networks
o Perform repair/replace of defective parts/components
o Conduct testing on computer and networks
o Fill out the Backup form
o Create backup or system image of user’s folder
o Restore/Recover backup or system image of user’s folder
