My name’s Tyler and my favorite place is New York. I go there every summer
to spend a month with my cousins David and Amanda. They live with my
uncle and aunt in a cool flat in Manhattan.
When I visit, we go to museums and take long walks in Central Park. I
especially love shopping around Times Square, where you can buy some
really cool clothes. The only thing that bothers me about New York is the
traffic. It’s awful!
The food is delicious—I miss eating the huge hamburgers and New York-
style pizza. I also enjoy going up the Empire State Building and the Statue
of Liberty. I’ve made a lot of friends, and New Yorkers are very kind.
I always have a great time with my cousins. I love New York because it’s full
of life.

My name’s Rose and my astrological sign is Sagittarius. As a Sagittarius, I like
exploring and learning. I’m very independent and I can’t live without freedom. I think
I’m optimistic, and I have a good sense of humor, too. My sister says I’m also very
sincere. I always tell the truth, even if it is a painful truth. I love having friends. In fact,
I think that friendship is one of the most important things in life.
My best friend’s name is Jane. Her sign is Aquarius. She’s kind and always ready to
help. As a typical Aquarius, she’s very funny. She loves telling jokes, and she always
cheers me up when I’m down. We both love talking and have long and interesting
conversations. She’s also very independent, which is why we get along so well. I
admire her because she’s very clever and adventurous, and never jealous or
demanding. She gives you everything without expecting anything in return.
