Overtime

Ibex defines its Payroll Workweek as Sunday 12:00 AM to Saturday Midnight, with overtime for non-exempt employees being any authorized hours worked over 40 in that period. Overtime must be pre-approved by a Supervisor or Operations Manager, and working beyond scheduled hours without approval is against company policy, potentially leading to disciplinary action. Exceptions are made for long customer calls, allowing employees to be compensated for necessary additional time worked.

Overtime

Ibex’s workweek, for payroll purposes and calculation of overtime, is from Sunday
12:00 AM through Saturday Midnight PM (the ‘Payroll Workweek’). Overtime is
defined as authorized hours worked by a non-exempt employee in excess of 40
hours in a workweek. Because the Company pays on a bi-monthly basis, in many
cases, a pay period may end prior to the end of the Payroll Workweek. In these
cases, overtime may not be calculable for the Payroll Workweek that has not ended.
This overtime will be calculated and paid with the following payroll cycle.

OVERTIME: Overtime is defined as authorized hours worked by a non-exempt

employee in excess of 40 hours in a workweek. Overtime must be approved in
advance by the Operations Manager or Sr. Operations Manager. If not approved,
employees will not be paid for the extra hours.

OVERTIME APPROVAL: All overtime must be approved by the employee’s

Supervisor or Operations Manager prior to the end of the regular shift. It is the
Supervisor’s responsibility to monitor and track all exceptions. It is a violation of
Company policy to work longer than the scheduled shift without prior approval for
overtime hours or to consistently “clock out” late or “clock in” early to gain hours,
resulting in overtime. Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action up to
and including separation of employment.
Exceptions for Long Calls: In no case should an employee abruptly end a
customer call in order to “clock out” at the scheduled time. Supervisors will approve
such extended time as appropriate to ensure employees are paid for all time worked
