Reflective log

1. Description
Today, during our Leadership and Management class, the teacher divided the students into
groups of four and assigned specific objectives to each group. Our task was to prepare, discuss,
and present our assigned parts. This group activity allowed us to share knowledge, understand
different perspectives, and improve our learning collaboratively. Each group presented their part
while the rest of the class actively listened and participated in discussions.
2. Feelings
Initially, I felt a bit nervous about working in a group and presenting in front of the class.
However, as the discussion progressed, I became more confident and realized how valuable it
was to hear different viewpoints. I enjoyed the collaborative nature of the session and felt
motivated by the active participation of my peers. Overall, I found the experience exciting and
engaging.
3. Evaluation
The class was very productive and beneficial. The group discussions helped us deepen our
understanding of the topics, as we learned not only from our assigned parts but also from other
groups. The interactive environment made the learning process enjoyable. However, there was a
slight challenge in managing time, as some presentations took longer than expected, which left
less time for questions and discussions.
4. Analysis
This activity highlighted the importance of teamwork and active engagement in learning. The
group discussions fostered critical thinking, as we had to explain and defend our points. It also
improved my communication and collaboration skills. However, the time management issue
suggests the need for better planning in such activities to ensure all groups have equal time to
present and discuss.
5. Conclusion
This class was a great learning experience, providing not only theoretical knowledge but also
practical skills such as teamwork, communication, and leadership. I realized the value of peer
learning and how discussions can broaden our perspectives. The session could have been even
better if the time for each group was more structured.
6. Action Plan
In the future, I plan to:
1. Actively participate in group discussions and ensure everyone contributes equally.
2. Suggest allocating a fixed time for each group presentation to manage time effectively.
3. Prepare thoroughly for such activities to ensure a better understanding of the topic.
4. Provide constructive feedback to other groups to foster mutual learning.
