“AN ECO – STRUCTURE AGRITOURISM COMPLEX TOWARDS EVOCATIVE ARCHITECTURE: A
PROPOSED ECOTOURISM PARK IN POZORRUBIO, PANGASINAN
An Eco-Structure Agritourism Complex towards Evocative Architecture is a project that
integrates to design agricultural zone functionally and attractively while engaging into an Eco-
Design innovative way of construction. The project primarily focuses on concept that aims to
create a complex to where human and nature meets tourism and agriculture while enhancing
both municipality and community to its fullest potential. Incorporating with the design, the
project develop to create a new structure that joined two features that highlights the use of
indigenous materials as the main element while integrating into different techniques and
technologies.
Description of the Project
The Barangay of Imbalbalatong is located in the northeast part of the municipality of
Pozorrubio, Pangasinan. The barangay is bordered on the north by the municipality of Sison, on
the south by Barangay Alipangpang, on the east the Barangay Buneg and on the west by
Barangay Cablong.
It is approximately 6 kilometers away from the town of Pozorrubio to Imbalbalatong barangay
proper, and 1 kilometer to the potential tourism site, which offers a natural environment,
options for excursions and treks (free flowing creeks, mounds and vegetated hilly areas). Thus
the place holds interesting activities for the tourist other than sheer beauty.
The Municipality of Pozorrubio discover its potential attraction for development into a tourist
spot.
