LESSON 8: FRUIT DAY

A. Objectives

After the lesson, children will be able to:

Knowledge: To name fruits: Apple, Banana, Grape, Peach, Pear, Cherrie

To understand the question: What’s this?

Use structure: This is a + (fruit) Ex. This is a banana.

Skills: Speaking and Listening

B. Teaching Aids

Interactive TV, real image of fruits/flashcards

C. Procedure

I. Warm up: (3 minutes) sing and dance “Fruit Song” song


II. New lesson: (27 minutes)

- Six students will come to the
front to play at the same time.
- Each student will be given a
chance to tap the board and
match the sound to its
corresponding picture.
- Applaud students who answered
correctly and encourage other
student to do it again until they
get the correct answers and
applaud them as well.
Activity 4 3’  Consolidation Interactive TV
- Ask the students to stand up
make a circle and sing the Fruit
Song together imitating the video
shown.
