ABSTRACT
Construction on site is the primary aspects of civil engineering. The very basics
of construction of any building, residential house or dams, bridges, culverts,
canal, etc can be done. The foremost basic in civil engineering is the
construction of simple basic components and members of a building viz.,
slabs, beams, columns and footing.
The name of the industry is ekta construction. The branches of these industry
is worked at different places. The one branch of these industry is worked at
savargaon. The of proposed auditorium building is work out

INTRODUCTION
There are various types of equipment and machines are used for working on site.
Use of modern equipment and machine to fast the working speed and speedly
construction.
The name of the industry is Ekta construction. The branches of these industry is
worked at different places. The one branch of these industry is worked at Manchar.
The proposed auditorium of building is work out. In these construction there are one
supervisor and 25 labour are worked.
Industry training is important because such training can expose students to the
real working environment. It also can add and expand technical knowledge and skills
of the student, if the student has previously acquired knowledge is limited, but when
students attend this training, students can find out more about things, and when
something will work. In addition, students can learn about the latest technology or
skills in Training Industry.

TYPES OF MAJOR EQUIPMENT
1. Excavator:

3. Bar bending machine
Rebar bending machines are usually used for the accuracy of bending angles.
Suitable for bending various rebars used in construction, TMT, rebars, etc., it
can bend the toughest rebar and has a wide range of uses. This machine is
suitable for construction companies and companies to work on rebar according
to their needs.
It comprises a long steel shaft that must be bent before it can be used in
construction. Various types of bending machines are used in the construction
industry to bend rebar. All bending machines differ in design, construction,
strength, technology, and application. More than just bending steel bars,
different machines offer unique features and capabilities based on the tasks they
perform. It can be used in the railway industry, such as scaffolding safety hooks,
ceiling hooks, concrete, and railway clamps.

5. Concrete vibrator
The more air bubbles you have in your concrete, the weaker its structural
integrity when it hardens. A concrete vibrator is a concrete tool that produces
stronger concrete by vigorously shaking the concrete right after you pour it
to eliminate the air bubbles or air pockets
13
6. Concrete pump
A concrete pump is a construction tool that helps you transfer freshly mixed
concrete to the worksite when and where it's needed. Concrete pumps work
by utilizing a valve system and hydraulics. There are two primary types of
concrete pumps — line pumps and boom pumps

EQUIPMENT USED ON SITE
Some important construction tools and their uses :
1) Hammer : Brick hammer used to cut the bricks and also used to push the bricks if
they come out of the course line and removing a nail.
fig: 4.1Hammer
2) Chisel : Chisel is generally used in wood work and this must be useful to remove the
concrete bumps or excess concrete.
3) Concrete mixer : concrete mixer is machine which mixer the ingredient water, fine
aggregate, coarse aggregate and cement deliver the perfectly mixed concrete.
15
4) Float : Float is made of wood which is used to smoothen the plastered
concrete surface.
5) Gloves : Gloves are required to prevent the hands from direct contact with cement
paints etc.., and avoid injury while using machines, tools, etc.
6) Circular saw : A circular saw is a tool for cutting many materials such as wood,
masonry, plastic, or metal and may be hand-held or mounted to a machine.
16
7) Binding wire and hook : Binding wires can keep the reinforcement in place. In the
absence of the construction binding wire, the reinforcement can move leading to an
increase in spacing between reinforcement in a particular section and decrease in
another section.
9) Hoe : Hoe is used to excavate the soil but in this case the metal plate is provided with
acute angle to the wooden handles.
17
10) Line and pins : Line and pins consist a thread whose end are connected with two
solid metal rod with pin point. It is used to level the allignment of bridges coarse
while brick laying and center line plan marking.
11) Measuring tape : Measuring tape is used to check the thickness, length, widths of
masonry walls, foundation beds, etc.

DETAIL OF PROJECT
In Ekta Construction Pvt. Ltd. industry, there are 25 labours are works on the
site. The turn over of this company is 5 to 6 crore in a one year. Good quality
of materials are used for the construction.

The slump cone test are carried out on concrete:
Folllowing are the equipments are used to carry out the slump cone test:
Slump cone, non-porous base plate, measuring scale, temping rod. The
mold for the test is in the form of the frustum of a cone having height 30 cm,
bottom diameter 20 cm and top diameter 10 cm. The tamping rod is of steel 16
mm diameter and 60cm long and rounded at one end.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENTS
2) Eye Protection:
Along with the head the eyes need to also be protected from dust, metal
particles and harmful radiation, fine welding particles, etc. The various types of
eye protection are goggles, spectacles, and clip-on.
3) Nose Protection:
Protection needs to be provided ti the nose from dust, vapour, gas and in oxygen
deficient environment. Protection to nose can be provided by full or half gas
masks.
4) Hands and feet Protection:
Maximum injuries occurs to the hand and feet as workmen have to handle blunt
material, work with sharp ends and not material.
Construction sites are plagued with objects that could cause grave injuries and
hence the feet need to be adequately protected.
The hand and feet are subject to abrasion, cuts, chemical infection, and skin
infection and hence needs to be protected by wearing gloves and gum boots.
24
The gloves are made of synthetic or natural rubber. Special care needs to be
taken while handling concrete as it may go into the sleeves of the gloves and get
hardened.
5) Ear Protection:
Construction site is full of loud noises which may not only damage the ears but
also have a psychological effects on his ability to work.
Hence ear protection is needed and is sometimes a part of the helmet gear. The
other types of ear protections are plug and cup type.
6) Body Protection:
Safety belts and harnesses are needed by those who are working at heights and
may fall down leading to grave injury or death.
Safety belts and har limit be movement of the worker and prevent him from
falling down. Unlike safety belts harnesses distribute the impact of fall over a
wider body area there by reducing the possibility of injury.
Full body suits are worn in temperature extremes, adverse weather conditions,
chemical or metal splash, impact or penetration, dust allergy, etc.

PRACTICAL EXPRIENCES IN INDUSTRY
In the summer vacation training, I have visit the site with my group
members. At this site, the construction of Praposed auditorioum work can be
started. By day to day visit, I have observed many more things which required
practically done on site. First of all, I have observed how to done the site
clearance with the help of machine like JCB. Then, the excavation marking can
be mark on site and then excavation can be started on site with the help of JCB.
Then construction of PCC bed can be practically observed. Then RCC column
or mesh of PCC can be placed on the PCC bed. Then column are filled with
Concrete. Raft Footing can be constructed. Then the work of plinth beam, plinth
filling, construction of brick masonry can be observed on site.
At the construction site this all the experience of the works helps to
develope a more knowledge.

Plinth beam
Plinth filling
Column
This all the works are observed on site and mentioned in the report
27
CHAPTER NO: 10
After this work can completed, then again the labours shifted to first site
project and started the construction. Then the construction of this site can be
covered in one week of extra working hours.
