NARRATIVE
Prompt:
Think about the personal narratives we've read in class. Consider how the
authors described their experiences and the impact those events had on
their lives. Write a personal narrative about an event that was significant
and changed your life.

Instructions:

Choose an Event: Think about an event in your life that had a significant
impact on you. This could be something big or small, happy or sad.

Plan Your Narrative:

Introduction:
Start with an engaging opening that sets the scene and introduces the
event.
Body:
Describe the event in detail. Use sensory details to help your readers feel
like they are experiencing the event with you. Explain what happened, how
you felt, and why it was significant.
Conclusion:
Reflect on how the event changed you. What did you learn from it? How
did it affect your life moving forward?

Writing Tips:
Use the first-person point of view (I, me, my).
Be honest and authentic in your writing.
Use descriptive language to create vivid images in your readers' minds.
Organize your narrative in a clear and logical way.

Editing and Revising:

After writing your first draft, take the time to revise and edit your work.
Check for grammar and spelling errors, and make sure your narrative
flows smoothly.

Due Date: Tuesday, March 4th
