URL Parameters

URL parameters are components added to URLs for content organization, tracking, and filtering, consisting of a key-value pair separated by an equal sign and prefixed by a question mark. Common uses include tracking campaigns, reordering items, searching, identifying products, paginating content, translating languages, and filtering data. However, improper use can lead to SEO issues such as duplicate content, crawl budget loss, keyword cannibalization, diluted ranking signals, and poor readability.
