Section 3 - Programme Description and Objectives


Scientific and technological innovations have become increasingly important as we
face the challenges in the 21st century. Engineering or technology is about using the
power of science to make life better for everyone. To succeed in this highly
technological society, students need to develop their capabilities in STEM. STEM Expo
aims to show students how important it is to study these fields and to be aware of their
impact through interactive games and activities.
On this day, students are invited to participate in activities that promote skills that are
critical in STEM discipline. Students are free to exhibit their projects, as well as
participating in STEM-based activities conducted by teachers. The goal is to heighten
the awareness and enthusiasm in students so that they are inspired to pursue these fields
of study in their own careers. Because our future depends on it!
Objectives:
● To develop solid knowledge among students and enhance their interest in
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
● To strengthen students’ abilities to integrate and apply knowledge and skills in
STEM discipline.
● To nurture students to be creative and critical thinkers, and lead the next
generation of innovators.
