ADMISSION TO UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, WINNEBA 2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR, Full -Time


We are pleased to inform you that the Joint Admissions Board on behalf of the Academic Board of University of Education,
Winneba has offered you admission to the University in the SCHOOL OF EDUCATION AND LIFE-LONG LEARNING
to pursue a BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL) programme. You are placed at level 100 of the
4–Year programme. School re-opens on 6th January, 2024 and registration begins on 8th January, 2024.

1. You are required to make payment of fees as indicated in the attached Fee Schedule. To secure your admission, you MUST
make a minimum of Thirty Percent (30%) payment of fees by 29th December, 2023. A mimimum payment of Fifty
Percent (50%) of the Fees shall be made before registration. Any fee balance SHALL be paid before the commencement
of the Second Semester. Please, pay the fees at any networked branch of Zenith Bank, GCB Bank, CBG Bank, Prudential
Bank, ADB Bank, Access Bank and Republic Bank using TRANSFLOW or Mobile Money Short Code, *887*50#
on all Networks by 12th January, 2024. The University reserves the right to revise its fees and other arrangements without
notice. Note that fees paid are not refundable.
2. Pay your fees with this Temporary Student Number UEW/230316374 after which your Index Number will be generated.
You will be required to quote your index number on all official documents with the University.
3. The University does not provide financial assistance to students. However, there are some scholarship opportunities that
may be advertised upon its availability to students of the University.
4. You have been assigned to GUSSS HALL 3. Accommodation in the Halls of Residence is available. The Residential
Facility User Fees (RFUF) and Hall Manager's Contact has been provided in the Fee Schedule attached.
5. Your admission is for the 2023/2024 academic year only and if you fail to enrol or withdraw from the programme you
forfeit the admission automatically. A change of programme is not allowed.
6. Please, note that if it is discovered subsequently that you do not possess the qualifications by virtue of which you have
been offered admission to the University, you will be withdrawn and made to face appropriate sanctions. The original
copies of your certificate(s) and other supporting document(s) will be inspected to complete your registration.
7. You will be required to adhere to ALL University rules and regulations as contained in the Students’ Handbook. Note that
Students are considered to be on probation for the duration of their programme and they would be dismissed at any time for
unsatisfactory work or misconduct.
8. The University is a secular institution and is not bound by the observance of any religious or sectarian practices.
9. The University requires that you are declared medically fit. It would be arranged for you to be medically examined. You
are therefore required to bring your National Health Insurance Card. Your Chest X-ray Photograph would be taken at
the University Clinic.
