Laser Instructions

1. Laser focus

Adjustable focus laser: By rotating the knob of the laser head, when the laser is in low
light state, wear goggles to observe the light spot the laser hits on the material, so that
the minimum state of the laser light spot on the engraving material is the best (please
bring goggles operation to prevent eye damage)

Fixed-focus laser: use the attached fixed-focus aluminum column between the laser
head and the material, so that the laser and the engraving material can maintain the
height of the fixed-focus column (different lasers have different fixed-focus columns
and different focusing positions. placed in the center of the laser head, and some at the
edge of the laser head)
2. Laser lift adjustment

Lifting acrylic

By tightening the four silver hand screws on the blue aluminum block, the position of the
lifting acrylic in the blue aluminum block can be adjusted. Generally, the height can be
adjusted by tightening the two hand screws on one side, and the other side can be
adjusted. Fixed without adjustment

The effect of fixing the

laser can be achieved by
tightening the black knob

Please confirm the laser lifting method by the received goods

3. Laser parameters
Laser type Semiconductor Laser Diode
Laser wavelength 445±5nm
Laser class Class IV
laser color Violet blue light
Input voltage DC 12V/24V
signal control PWM/TTL
Laser life >10000 hours
cooling method air cooling
Fixed focus Adjustable focus/fixed focus
spot shape square/rectangular
Working temperature ’-15℃--50℃
Laser Interface Definition 12V(24V)/GND/PWM
Precautions:
1. If the laser is often used to cut materials, if it is not used with an air pump, the smoke
and dust generated by the cutting may adhere to the surface of the laser head lens after a
long time, which will gradually reduce the laser power. You can use a cotton swab
dipped in alcohol to clean the surface of the laser lens. to clean.
2. The two ends of the laser diode connecting line are strictly prohibited from being
plugged and plugged under power and external force will affect the tightness of the
terminals, otherwise the laser will be easily damaged. If the static electricity is serious, the
corresponding operator needs to effectively wear a wired electrostatic wristband to
prevent electrostatic shock from damaging the laser.
3. This product should be used in a dry, clean and static-free environment. The best
working environment temperature is 15-30°C, avoiding high temperature, high humidity
and severe vibration and impact.
4. Do not arbitrarily adjust the potentiometer on the power board to avoid excessive
current and burn out the circuit board or laser.
5. The power input needs to meet the needs of the laser. Do not connect to other power
sources to avoid damage to the laser.
8. Lasers are potentially harmful to the human body and eyes. It is strictly forbidden to
irradiate others with lasers, especially eyes, and children are prohibited from using them.
9. The laser theory can work all the time, but due to external factors, if the room
temperature is above 30 , it is recommended to use 2-3 hours to rest for 10-20 minutes
to cool down the laser to prevent the laser from lifespan.
life shortened.
10. Some lasers have switches above them, while others do not. If the lasers fail to emit
light during use, please confirm whether the lasers are powered on and whether there
are switches above the lasers that are not turned on.
11. When laser engraving, if you need to observe the laser, be sure to wear goggles for
operation.

Note: The translucent and reflective material cannot be engraved and cut, but the surface of the
translucent and reflective material can be painted, and traces can be engraved, but it cannot be cut.
Most materials will have a black border on the inside of the cut edge. The parameter settings are for
reference only, and more suitable parameters need to be tested according to the actual situation. If
your laser is larger or smaller, you can convert it according to this table. If you are a 10W (output
power) laser, under the condition of achieving the same engraving effect, the 10W laser will be one
faster than the 5.5W. At the same cutting speed, the speed of 10W cutting material will also be twice
as deep as 5.5W (10W cutting material is twice as thick as 5.5W)
