Ans. To set up new colonies the trees there had to be cut down.

3. Which diseases do mosquitoes spread ?


Ans. Mosquitoes spread diseases like malaria, dengue, filaria and
chikungunya.

4. How has taking more than one crop in a year affected


groundwater ?
Ans. Taking more than one crop in a year had resulted in decrease the
amount of available groundwater.
5. What do we do in school every day besides studying?
Ans: We do many things in school every day besides studying –
(1) We go to school to learn and make many friends in the class and all
over school.
(2) We study with each others help
(3) We play together and share our Tiffin’s
(4) We take part in school functions and go on trips together.
(5) We come together to clean and decorate the classroom.
It is great fun to do so.

6. How does the joy in learning increase?


Answer:
Every child should get the joy of learning in school. All children with
special needs have the right to education. There are different needs of
different children.
When we understand the mutual need and difficulties and help each
other. In this way the joy in learning increases.
7. Which means of communication can be used to promote pulse
polio campaign in rural areas?
Answer:
Now days, we have new techniques for very quick communication. And
rural areas developed much better than older days.
Through announcement, making people polio poster and poster them,
leaflets, television, radio, newspapers all these can be used to promote
the pulse polio campaign in rural areas.

8. What means of communication do you use to watch a cartoon


film?
Answer:
Television, mobile phones connecting with internet or Wi-Fi.

9. What is a textbook used for?


Answer:
A textbook is used for the study because it’s a book and we study of any
object in textbook and we also writing our lessons. People use a
textbook to learn many things and developed their knowledge’s. We
know many facts and methods through this textbook.

10. How do we develop certain likes and dislikes?


Answer:
We develop certain likes and dislike when we start learning new thing
while growing up.

11. How do we learn about diversity?


Answer:
We meet our neighbours every day for some reason or other. We
observe there ways of behaving, speech, and eating habits from up close.
Specially if people come from another place happen to be our,
neighbours, we get to know about their food, and festivals, which may
be different from ours. This is how we learn about diversity.
