REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10068

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION OF
ORGANIC AGRICULTURE IN THE
PHILIPPINES AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
Section 1 Title. - This Act shall be
known as the "Organic Agriculture Act
of 2010".

Department of Labor and

Employment (DOLE) is one of
the executive departments of the Philippine
government mandated to formulate
policies, implement programs and services,
and serve as the policy-coordinating arm of
the Executive Branch in the field of labor
and employment. The Department of Labor
& Employment (DOLE) was founded on
December 8, 1933, via Act No. 4121 by the
Philippine Legislature.

Department of Science and

Technology (DST) is a department within
the Ministry of Science and
Technology in India. It was established in
May 1971 to promote new areas of science
and technology and to play the role of a
nodal department for organising,
coordinating and promoting scientific and
technological activities in the country.

Technical Education and Skills

Development Authority (TESDA)
serves as the Philippines' Technical
Vocational Education and Training
(TVET) authority. Technical-Vocational
Education was first introduced to the
Philippines through the enactment of Act
No. 3377, or the "Vocational Act of 1927.

Food and Agriculture Organization of

the United Nations (FAO) is a specialized
agency of the United Nations that leads
international efforts to defeat hunger and
improve nutrition and food security.
Its Latin motto, fiat panis, translates to "let
 there be bread". It was founded on 16
October 1945.

Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), is

an agency of the Philippine government
under the Department of
Agriculture responsible for training
agricultural extension workers and their
clientele; conducting multi-level training
programs to promote and accelerate rural
development; and ensuring that research
results are communicated to the farmers
through appropriate training and extension
activities.
