MUN PROCEDURE

ROLL CALL:

-Present
-Present and voting

QUORUM:

-Minimum number of participants

YIELDS:

-To another delegate (give other delegates your rest of the time from their consent)
-To points of information (want to be interrogated by the other delegates)
-To the dais/executive board (remaining time goes onto the next speaker)

POINTS:

-Points of parliamentary enquiry (raise the point to enquire what is happening in the committee)
-Points of personal privilege (any kind of discomfort you may be having in the committee)
-Point of order (if we feel the proceeding is not going in the wat it should)
-Right to reply (when a delegate’s integrity/the country’s severity is questioned)

MODERATED CAUCUS:

The delegate of Iraq country, would like to suspend the GSL and move into a moderated caucus, on
the topic _________, for the total time being _________ and per speaker’s time being _________.

UN-MODERATED CAUCUS:

The delegate of Iraq country, would like to suspend the GSL and move into a unmoderated caucus,
for the total time being _________.
