OBJECTIVE At the end of the lesson the students shall be able to: 1. identify and Analyze Stressors; 2. explore and Apply Coping Strategies; and 3. reflect on Personal Stress Management

Other Learning Resources IV. Procedures A. Recall Make a short recap of the last discussion about the developmental tasks. B. Activity Motivation: Procedure: 1. Gather students in a circle. 2. Explain that when a student catches the ball, they will share one thing that stresses them out. 3. After sharing, they will toss the ball to another student. 4. Continue until everyone has had a chance to share. 5. Conclude with a brief discussion on how common these stressors are and the importance of coping strategies. C. Analysis Stressor Mapping Materials Needed: Large paper, markers, and sticky notes. Procedure: 1. Provide each student with a large sheet of paper and markers. 2. Instruct them to draw a circle in the center labeled "My Stressors." 3. Ask students to write down specific stressors on sticky notes and place them around the central circle. 4. Once completed, have students share their maps in small groups, discussing common themes and unique stressors. 5. Facilitate a class discussion to identify patterns and insights from the mapping activity. D. Abstraction -Procedure: 1. Introduce the concept of mapping ideas visually. 2. In groups, students will create a concept map that connects stressors to coping strategies. 3. Encourage them to include definitions, examples, and personal connections. 4. After completing their maps, each group will present their concept map to the class. 5. Discuss how understanding these connections can help in managing stress effectively. E. Application Activity: 1. Prepare scenario cards that depict various stressful situations (e.g., preparing for exams, dealing with peer pressure). 2. Divide students into small groups and assign each group a scenario. 3. Each group will role-play their scenario, demonstrating how they would use specific coping strategies to manage the stress. 4. After each role-play, the class will provide feedback on the effectiveness of the strategies used. 5. Conclude with a discussion on how these strategies can be applied in real life. F. Evaluation 1. Assign students to keep a reflection journal for one week, documenting daily stressors and coping strategies they used. 2. Provide prompts such as: What stressors did I encounter today? How did I cope with these stressors? - What strategies worked well, and what didn’t? 3. At the end of the week, have students write a summary reflecting on their experiences and insights gained. 4.
