GRADE 10 SCIENCE JULY 7, 2023 (10:25 AM - 11:25
QUARTER
AM)
I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards The learners demonstrate an understanding of the chemical
reactions associated with biological and industrial processes
affecting life and the environment
B. Performance Standards The learners shall be able to use any form of media, present
chemical reactions involved in biological and industrial
processes
affecting life and the environment.
Objectives:
At the end of the session, the learners will be able to:
1. identify the different types of chemical reactions;
2. explain the different types of chemical reactions ; and
3. recognize the importance of determining the type of
chemical reaction a substance is undergoing.
C. Presenting
examples/instances of the
new lesson
Explain to the class the three kinds of plate boundaries and its

movement: the divergent, convergent and transform boundaries
and practicing new skills
#1
(EXPLAIN)
E. Discussing new concepts
Convergent boundaries are two plate where the movement is
and practicing new skills
meeting each other and this creates mountain ranges.
#2
Divergent boundaries are two plates that split apart which in
(ELABORATE)
turn creates rift valleys. Transform or fault boundaries are two
plates that slip fast each other which will create fault lines.
Plates are composed of two types, continental and oceanic.
Several other transformations will also happen in the oceanic
plates.
Plate boundaries are part of the Earth’s lithospheric crust, and
because of the convection current underneath, these plates
behave in different manner and thus creating something new on
the crust of the Earth.
GRAPHIC ORGANIZER
The teacher will show a Venn Diagram of the similarities
and differences of the three types of plate boundaries.
I. Evaluating learning
J. Additional activities for
application or remediation
V. REMARKS
VI. REFLECTION
A. No. of learners who earned 80% in the evaluation
B. No. of learners who require additional activities for
remediation
C. Did the remedial lessons work? No. of learners who have
caught up with the lesson
D. No. of learners who continue to require remediation
E. Which of my teaching strategies worked well? Why did this
work?
F. What difficulties did I encounter which my principal or
supervisor can help me solve?
G. What innovation or localized materials did I use/discover which
I wish to share with other teachers?
