 Choosing an urban center and creative district for
accessibility, visibility and client convenience.
 These areas offer easy access to public transportation and
a diverse client base, enhancing visibility and facilitating
client meeting.
 Being located in a hub of creativity fosters collaboration
and networking with professionals in related fields,
boosting creativity and business growth
 Ramps, Elevators and automatic doors.
 Wide spaces and minimal barriers.
 Adjustable desks and furnitures.
 Grab Bars and Clear signage.
 Adjustable lighting and Acoustic treatment.
 High-contrast signage and tactile elements.
 Ample room and diverse seating.
 Compatible with assistive tech.
 Evacuation plans and staff training.
Similar things we must avoid such as:

 Over crowded workspace.


Insufficient storage.
Poor lighting and ventilation.
 Lack of privacy zone.
- ENTRANCE: Serves as the gateway to the studio and
is a part of the public zone.

- WAITING AREA: located near the entrance, the


waiting area is also part of the public zone and is
where visitors wait before appointments.
 Cafeteria: while accessible to visitors, is primarily used by
staff and thus falls into the semi-public zone.

 Restroom: Accessible to both staff and visitors, restroom is


also part of the semi-public zone.
 Offices: forms the private zone where staff work. They are
located away from public areas to provide privacy and
focus.

 Manager office: it’s also part of private zone and may be


located near offices for accessibility to staff.
 Gathering Area: this serves as a shared space for informal
meetings and collaboration, it can be centrally located,
accessible to both staff and visitors.

 Meeting Area: the meeting area is also part of the shared


zone, accessible to both staff and visitors, for formal
meetings and presentations.
 Storage: being a service area is located away from the main
circulation paths but easily accessible for staff to retrieve
and store materials.
Considering a two-floor architecture studio with total area of
624 square meters, here are suggested layout and allocation
of space for each area:

Ground Floor:

1/ Entrance/Reception:
- Size (31 to 62 square meters)of the total space.
- Quantity: 1
2/Waiting Area:
- Size (31 to 62 square meters) of total space.
- Quantity: 1

3/Gathering Area:
- Size (62 to 94 square meters) of total space.
- Quantity: 1

4/Meeting Area:
- Size (62 to 94 square meters) of total space.
- Quantity: 1
5/Kitchen:
- Size (31 to 62 square meters) of total space.
- Quantity: 1

6/Restroom:
- Size (31 to 62 square meters) of total space.
- Quantity: 1 (for both male and female)

7/Storage:
- Size (31 to 62 square meters) of total space.
- Quantity: 1
Upper Floor:
8/ Office:
- Size (124 to 249 square meters) of total space.
- Quantity: 1 with architectural tables depending on the number
of Architects.

9/Manager Office:
- Size (31 to 62 square meters) of total space.
- Quantity: 1

10/ Restroom:
- Size (31 to 62 square meters) of total space.
- Quantity:1 (for both male and female)
 Greenery Area:
- Size 50% of the total space (312 square meters)
- Quantity: Integrated throughout the ground floor, including
indoor plants, vertical gardens, or outdoor garden spaces.
