Dhaka to Chotogram is 8 on the other hand Nabila has chosen a number from the natural
number from 30 to 50.
a. Determine the probability of getting at best two tail when two coins are thrown.
b. Find the probability that Nabid will travel from Rajshahi to Dhaka by bus and will
travel to Chattogram not by train using a probability tree.
c. Show that the difference of the probability of the number being even or multiple
8
of 5 and the probability of the number being prime is 21.

2. Suppose number of a student of your school at class seven 115, class eight 120, class
nine 105 and class ten 90 are present. A student is chosen randomly by the headmaster.
a. What is the probability of the prime numbers by thrown an unbiased dice?
b. Find the probability of the student is not in class 7.
c. Find the probability of the selected student is of class 9 or class 10.

3. There are 13 red, 7 white and 15 black balls in a basket. A ball is collected at random.
a. A coin is tossed twice draw the probability tree.
b. Find the probability of the ball that (i) to be black and (ii) not to be red.
c. If five balls are picked up successively without replacement then find the probability
of all balls to be white.

4. There are 40 tickets and numbered serially from 31 to 70.A ticket is randomly chosen.
a. If a coin under dies are drawn together, draw the probability tree.
b. Find the probability of getting the ticket being divisible by 3 or not prime number.
c. Find the probability of getting the ticket being odd number or multiple of 5.

5. An unbiased coin is tossed thrice.

a. Find the probability of getting an odd number or a number divisible by 3 in a single
throw of a dice.
b. Write down the sample space by drawing probability tree of the possible events and
find the probability of getting same result from the sample space.
c. If the coin tossed four times instead of thrice find the probability of getting 3 heads
and one tail from the simple space.

digits are at least 9 each.
c. Find the probability from the simple space of those simple points whose sum of two
digits are not 6 or 11 each.

A mangoes is chosen randomly.
𝟏
a. If the probability of Amrupali is𝟐, then determine the value of X.
b. If x=2 then find the probability of Fazli but not Himsagor.
c. If three mangoes are picked up one without replacing any one of them then find the
probability all mangoes being Amrupali when x = 3.
