NOTES
Use the present continuous :

a. for things that are hapenning now, at the moment or at the time of speaking .

b. for temporary things that are happening right now, now, in this moment, this week, etc.

c. To describe a picture.

Present simple or Present Continuous

Use the present simple for permanent states, daily routines (things you do every day, every
week, every year) and repeated actions.
Use the present continuous for an action happening now or at the moment of speaking.

*We normally use verbs which describe “states or feeling” without ing-form.

Exm: want, need, like, have (possess) I’m having two children.
But I can say : I’m having lunch right now. (an Idiomatic Expresión)
