2025 FEBRUARY/AUGUST INTAKE UNDERGRADUATE AND POSTGRADUATE ENROLMENT.

Bindura University of Science Education Invites suitably qualified individuals to apply for the following
programmes;

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates who apply for Undergraduate Degree programmes should have the specified ‘A’ Level
subjects and at least 5 ‘O’ Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics unless indicated
otherwise. (www.buse.ac.zw). Mature entry will be considered for candidates who are at least 25 years
of age and have proven relevant work experience. Special entry will be accorded to candidates with
relevant diplomas and work experience. For further details pertaining to ENTRY REQUIREMENTS kindly
refer to the advertisement on the University Website.

Mathematics Bridging Course (MBC) AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE BRIDGING COURSE (EBC)
The University also accepts candidates who have the relevant “A” Level subjects and have attempted
Mathematics or English Language at “O” Level but have not yet passed the subjects. Those candidates
will be required to pass the Bridging Courses offered by the University before commencing studies and
pass the “O” Level Mathematics and or English language before proceeding to their Industrial
Attachment/Teaching Practice or Final year of study, which-ever comes first.

The Bridging courses for February 2025 INTAKE commences on 01 February 2025.

Candidates who seek entry consideration through bridging courses should indicate MBC/EBC as applicable
on top of their application form. Applicants should also specify INTAKE e.g. February or August on top
of their application form.

Programmes which applicants can apply for entry through the Mathematics Bridging Course:

1. Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Science


All programmes except the Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Agricultural Economics and
Management.
2. Faculty of Commerce

To gain entry into the Bachelor of Science Education Honours Degrees, Primary Level school
teachers undergo a six months bridging course in their area of specialisation (Biology,
Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Geography).
