TAKE NOTE!!!
• Stationery must be placed in a transparent case/ plastic sleeve. Pack extra stationery as
there is strictly no borrowing or lending of any stationery during the exam session!! No
TIPPEX allowed. Stationery required: blue pens, pencils, sharpener, eraser, 30cm ruler,
Maths Set, calculator – check batteries.
• No electronic devices are permitted either in the school or exam venue. Refer to this
timetable/ the d6 Communicator for ending times so that transport can be arranged in
advance. We cannot keep cellphones at school for all learners every day.
• Full formal SUMMER school uniform MUST be worn for every exam & the rest of the code
of conduct will be enforced as well during the exam period. This includes boys being clean
shaven, and no make-up for girls – amongst other requirements. See Code of Conduct for
details if unsure.
• Punctuality: learners who arrive more than 60 minutes late for an exam will not be allowed
to write unless there is a valid and acceptable reason provided by the parent/ guardian.
• Absenteeism: learners who are absent for an exam will receive 0 unless there is valid and
acceptable written evidence from a medical professional/ court of law.
• Dishonesty during an exam will result in a ZERO for that paper.
• Learners are expected to be at school by 7:20am for all Session 1 exams. Refer to the
Calendar on the d6 Communicator for 2nd session times and dismissal times.
• Learners are NOT to gather in groups outside the school after being dismissed. Parents
must support the school to ensure that their children are picked up immediately and taken
home. This will enable learners to study and prepare for their next exam. It will also ensure
learner safety.
