Fez, a defense attorney, confidently questions state witness Mr. Mudau about fingerprint evidence in a trial, suggesting that her client is not a professional criminal since her fingerprints were found at crime scenes. Mudau struggles to answer her questions, indicating that some criminals do not leave fingerprints, while Fez argues that only real criminals would attempt to cover their tracks. The document hints at the tension in the courtroom as a DNA expert witness is called next.

“Morning Mam.”
“I take it with fifteen years of experience you must have come across so many things in your line of work.”
“Correct mam.”
“Is it possible to share with the court some of the interesting things you came across?”
Mudau looked at her confused not knowing how to answer as Steenberg frowned thinking how pathetic she is.

“No mam. All fingerprints were clear at all crime scenes.”
“Wow. So in your experience do most serial killers try to destroy all the fingerprints evidence?”
“Ummm I’m not following. You see…”
“Do you think my client was careless like she was not a professional criminal? I mean you did say that she never attempted to destroy her fingerprints.”
“I don’t know mam.”
“Well I put it to you that my client fingerprints were found because she is not a criminal only a real criminal will try to cover their tracks. Only a real criminal will
