B. Objectives of the Program/Activity

1. To maintain high standard of discipline of the SNED athletes in the Conduct of Palarong
Pambansa;
2. Maintain the nutrition of the SNED athletes without compromising their strength and skills;
3. Attend the needs of the SNED athletes specially in their conditioning;
4. To ensure the safety of the SNED athletes before during and after the competition
5. To obtain additional knowledge and skills as a coach for future SNED athletes competition;
6. To develop the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie among the SNED athletes.

1. In accordance with DepEd Memorandum (DM) No. 020, s. 2024 titled Conduct of the 2024 Palarong
Pambansa Competitions, dated April 4, 2024, the Department of Education (DepEd) issues the enclosed
revisions and /or modifications to the following enclosures:
Enclosure No. 1: Qualifying Standards for Measurable Sports, and
Enclosure No. 3: Guidelines of the Different Sports to be played in the 2024 Palarong Pambansa
2. All-other provisions in DM 020, s. 2024 and its enclosures not affected by said revisions and/or
modifications shall remain in effect. For more information, all concerned may contact Lthe Palarong Pambansa

PARAGAMES TECHNICAL GUIDELINES


I. CLASSIFICATION/ CATEGORIES:
1. Intellectual Impairment – To be assessed by a registered psychologist or a registered Guidance
Counselor using Assessment Tool;
2. Visual Impairment – To be assessed by a registered ophthalmologist with Visual Acuity Result ;
3. Physical Impairment – To be assessed by the Palarong Pambansa Para Games Assessors.
II. SPORTS EVENTS : (No Crossing of Events)
1. Athletics – Intellectual, Visual, and Physical Impairments (Lower Body only)
2. Swimming – Intellectual, and Physical Impairments ( Upper and Lower Body
3. Goalball - Visual Impairment (B1, B2, B3)
4. Bocce – Intellectual Impairment

July 8, 2024  Attended the solidarity meeting of coaches and assistant coaches
July 9, 2024  Attended the Palarong Pambansa Opening Program
July 10, 2024  Accompanied SNED Athletes for training
July 11, 2024  Accompanied SNED athletes to playing venue.
 Served as coach and guide for swimming athletes
July 12, 2024  Accompanied SNED athletes to playing venue.
 Served as coach and guide for swimming athletes
July 13, 2024  Accompanied SNED athletes to playing venue.
 Served as coach and guide for swimming athletes
July 14, 2024  Accompanied SNED Athletes at billeting School for rest
July 15, 2024  Attended the awarding ceremony at the Eco Tech Cebu City.
July 16, 2024  Attended the R1AA Closing Program at Cebu City Sports Complex
July 17, 2024  Fixed all things specially in the assigned billeting room
 Helped the athletes packed their things
