Domestic Retail is a MNC having presence in many countries.

It has its footprint in the retail market


with a wide range of products. Its customers are from different segment Time to time
promotions/campaigns are conducted to retain the customers and for ne w opportunities.

Domestic Retail has hired you as a data analyst to extract insights and expand the sales.

The sales and campaigns info are recorded on the below tables.
dr_customer_data_uncleaned – Customer details
dr_sales_data – Sales information of Customers
dr_campaign_A – Campaign A result
dr_campaign_B – Campaign B result
dr_campaign_C – Campaign C result
CountryNames – Country info

Note: For this assignment only first two files are needed.

Your company wants to get the insights of their sales data and ask you to perform the below actives.
Provide the details performing the below activities.

Section A- Clean the data, transform and get the insights


What Education groups have bought in average most fish products?
What Education groups have bought in average most meat products?
What Education groups makes up for most fish product sales in total?
What Education groups makes up for most meat product sales in total?

1. Open PBI file and get the data.


2. Clean the data so that you can answer the questions above. Use the following tools / steps:
o Connect the file to Power BI
o Remove Top Rows
o First row as a header
o Changing column names (if needed) o Removing invalid rows (if needed)
o Setting up the data types
o Create a data model
3. Visualize the data so that the answer can be presented with the little report.
