Course Code: AGE 0103

Course Description:

This course introduces the fundamental concepts of physical geography, focusing on the natural
processes and features that shape the Earth. It covers the Earth's atmosphere, hydrosphere,
biosphere, and lithosphere, including the physical processes responsible for weather, climate,
landforms, and ecosystems. The course aims to develop students' understanding of how these
processes interact and influence the environment.

Course Objectives:

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

1. Understand the basic components and processes of the Earth’s physical systems.
2. Analyze the relationship between landforms, weather patterns, and ecosystems.
3. Explain the impact of physical geography on human activities.
4. Identify major physical features on Earth and their formation processes.
5. Discuss environmental challenges and the importance of physical geography in
sustainability.
