Statement of Purpose

I'm writing to University of Hertfordshire to show interest in the MSc Business Analytics and
Consultancy program for the forthcoming September intake. My results from my 2023 Bachelor
of Science in Computer Science and Engineering were released in February 2024. Since then,
I've worked hard to get ready to continue my studies in the UK, which is a major worldwide
center for business and technological education.
The University of Hertfordshire stands out for its commitment to providing a contemporary and
industry-relevant education. With a curriculum that is meticulously designed to bridge the gap
between academic theory and practical application, the university ensures that its graduates are
well-equipped to meet the demands of the modern workforce. This practical approach to learning
is precisely what I seek, as it aligns with my goal of gaining not just theoretical knowledge but
also the skills necessary to excel in my chosen field. Moreover, the university's strong emphasis
on research and innovation is particularly appealing to me. The opportunity to engage in cutting-
edge research alongside esteemed faculty members will not only enhance my academic
experience but also allow me to contribute to advancements in my field of interest. The state-of-
the-art facilities and resources available at the University of Hertfordshire further reinforce my
belief that this is the ideal environment for me to pursue my studies. Another significant factor
influencing my decision is the university's vibrant and diverse community. Studying in such a
multicultural setting will provide me with a broader perspective and the chance to collaborate
with peers from various backgrounds. This diversity is crucial for personal growth, fostering a
deeper understanding of different cultures and viewpoints, which is indispensable in today's
globalized world.
I am contemplating UK universities for my future academic endeavors for a variety of factors.
UK universities, first and foremost, provide top-notch academic programs as well as professional
career-oriented courses. Additionally, UK institutions offer shorter study terms than those in
other nations, saving students both time and money on living expenses. In addition, practical
education is given more priority in the UK educational system than theoretical education. In
comparison, in the UK, six months after graduation, 90% of graduates are employed or engaged
in further education. Additionally, the UK leads the world in terms of service and happiness for
overseas students. Approximately 88 percent of students are happy with their educational
experience in the UK, according to the British Council website. In a similar vein, a degree earned
in the UK is worth more in my nation and abroad. As an added bonus, the UK boasts a warm
culture and lovely weather. The fact that the United Kingdom is the most suggested English-
speaking nation is among the most significant factors. I will also be able to apply for
employment all over the world once I have completed the course. Last but not least, UK
institutions charge relatively affordable tuition. I have made the decision to study in the UK after
taking everything into consideration.
I want to study in MSc Business Analytics and Consultancy as I want to be able to collect and
interpret data is an invaluable set of skills that's in high demand across the business world. In this
course I will go through the modules such as Computer Simulation for Business, Individual
Consultancy Project, Business Analytics Tools, Consultancy Skills for Business Analysts, Data
Analytics, Databases and Business Intelligence, International Supply Chain Management,
Postgraduate Online Research Methods, Decision Analytics. These modules will help me to
enhance my knowledge and compete the business world.
Right now, there are numerous multinational firms operating in my country. Bangladesh is a
developing nation with a rising Gross Domestic Product, so it requires a lot of skilled personnel.
A person's work prospects are significantly limited if they are limited to just one subjective skill.
Today, business is king everywhere. Learning about business consulting and analytics is crucial,
especially in today's environment of intense competition. For everybody who wishes to succeed
in business, approaching the global market has also become essential. I wish to work in a
managerial position for international corporations in my home country when I finish my studies.
In my nation, there is a shortage of skilled workers. I will attempt to benefit my firm and team, as
well as young students in my country, in order to contribute to my country's progress.
