• Japanese scientists are set to test the world’s rst wooden satellite.
‘Pantsir Air Defense System’
• India’s Bharat Dynamics Limited will collaborate with Russia’s Rosoboron export to co-develop the
Pantsir S-1 short – range air defense system.

• Chandrayaan 4, a collaborative mission with Japan, aiming for a precise landing at the Moon’s south
pole by 2030.
‘Proba-3’ space satellite
• India will launch the European Union’s Proba-3 spacecraft from Sriharikota in December, marking another
milestone in their space cooperation.
• Its purpose is to study the Sun’s corona and solar dynamics.
Integrated Antenna System, UNICORN,
• On November 15, 2024, India and Japan signed a Memorandum of Implementation (Mol) to co-develop
and co-produce the UNICORN (Unied Complex Radio Antenna) mast for Indian ships.
• The system is designed to increase the stealth characteristics of naval platforms. (Less visible to radar,
infrared, sonar and other detection methods)
Implementation agreement for ‘Gaganyaan Mission’
• The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and the Australian Space Agency (ASA) have signed an
Implementation Agreement (IA) to strengthen cooperation in space activities between Australia and India.
ISRO’s GSAT – N2 communication satellite
• Elon Musk’s SpaceXcompany has launched India’s GSAT – N2 communication satellite with Falcon 9
rocket.

• On November 6, the Union cabinet approved the PM – Vidyalaxmi scheme that aims to cover over 22
