Optics is the study of light and how it is manipulated to create images based from the structure of
the eye. Lenses and mirrors are shaped to see different images for variety of purposes

Objectives/Competency:
 To investigate the effect of optical instrument and its resulting image.

Materials:
Magnifying lens, Microscope, Telescope, Monocular, and Camera
Procedures
1.) operate each instrument
2.) record the number of lenses/mirrors
3.) snap a picture of the images formed by each instrument
4.) Draw their ray diagram
5.) Determine their particular use based from the images formed
