Make to Order Kitting with POSC without VAS

We will do POSC = PICKING + KITTING + STAGING.

Kitting step is nothing but VAS only.

VAS cannot be supported by RF

Cross Process Settings - Warehouse Task - Define Process Oriented Storage Control

Click on External Storage Process Step and define new step as below.

Note: Internal process step is VAS

Click on Storage Process Definition

Filter by warehouse number and check the existing POSC

We have PICK + PACK + Stage.

Create New Storage Process

Create New Storage Process as MKTO and assign steps as below:

Picking + Kitting + Staging


To determine this storage process, we need warehouse order creation rule.

Cross Process Settings - Warehouse Order - Define Warehouse Order Creation Rule

Click on New Entries

Go to warehouse process type

Cross Process Settings  Warehouse Task - Define Warehouse Process Type


Create new WPT by copying 2010 as below

Now warehouse process type determination

Provide item type for determination:

Picking Strategies:

Go to

Goods Issue Process  Strategies - Determine Storage Type Search Sequence for Stock Removal

Now we require a work centre for Kitting and storage type for Kitting Work Centre

Storage Type

Master Data - Define Storage Type


New Entries

Select Confirm Removal as well.

Define Storage Section

Create Storage Bin

/n/scwm/ls01
Create Work Center

SPRO  Master Data - Define Work Center

Work Center Layout is KTSO, observe layout.

Transaction type is VAS only.


But below fields should be checked

Maintain Source and Destination for Kitting Step

Cross Process Settings - Warehouse Task - Define Process Oriented Stroage Control
Observe the existing steps

New Entries

Add new step MRKO

3070 is WPT.

Note: Rule will not work for VAS.

Assign the bin.


TEST CASE:

ECC

Outbound delivery for sales order using VL01n

EWM

ODR

ODO, check the WPT determined

Follow on functios – warehouse task

Create Warehouse task, create + save

Go to warehouse order and create pick HU

Provide pack material and click on create.


Once create, confirm warehouse order.

Note HU is in KTO-Bin

VAS execution:

Easy Access:

Extended Warehouse Management - Execution - VAS execution

Select handling unit and click on kit button


Now Click on handling unit and click on HU complete step

Open WT will be created to move the HU from KTO-BIN to GI bin

Confirm WT through monitor

Go to outbound delivery order and click on GI.
