Yes, I agree with the company's policy guidelines, rules and agreements.

This rules are designed to create a safe, productive, respectful work

environment.

2. Was there a rule that you think is not acceptable to you? Why?

No, I do not find any of the rules unacceptable, all of the rules theme

reasonable unnecessary for maintaining a professional workplace.

12
Activity 3: Situational Analysis

CONFIDENTIALITY IN THE WORKPLACE

Suppose you work in a police station or a low firm and signed a

confidentiality agreement regarding all their cases at hand, suddenly

your friend who was a suspect to a crime ask you for some documents

that are in your offices possession that may help him in his case. How

would you deal with a situation?

If I work in a police station or a law firm and have signed a

confidentiality agreement, I must follow the rules strictly. Confidentiality

means that I cannot share any private or sensitive information with anyone,

even if they are my friend. In this situation, my friend, who is a suspect in a

crime, is asking me for documents that could help him. However, these

documents belong to my workplace, and sharing them would be a serious

violation of my duties.

I would explain to my friend that I cannot share any information

because of my job responsibilities. I would tell him that breaking

confidentiality could cause me to lose my job, face legal consequences,

and damage my professional reputation. It is important to make my

friend understand that I must follow ethical and legal rules, and I cannot

make exceptions, even for him.

13
I would advise my friend to go through the proper legal process. If

he needs certain documents for his case, his lawyer can request them

legally through the court. This is the correct way to obtain information, and it

ensures that everything is done fairly and legally. I would encourage him to

trust his lawyer and follow the right procedures instead of asking me to do

something unethical.

I would report the situation to my supervisor or manager. It is

important to inform my superiors about the request because it could become

a serious issue. By reporting it, I am protecting myself and ensuring that I

handle the situation properly. My workplace may also have specific policies

for dealing with such requests, and I need to follow them carefully.

Additionally, I would remind myself of the importance of integrity in

my profession. When I signed the confidentiality agreement, I made a

promise to protect sensitive information. If I break this promise, I would not

only be harming my workplace but also breaking the law. Being honest and

professional is more important than helping my friend in an improper way.

I will maintain my friendship in an ethical manner. While I cannot

share confidential information, I can still support my friend in other ways. I

can encourage him to stay calm, follow legal procedures, and trust the

justice system. True friendship does not mean breaking the rules; it means

14
doing what is right while still being supportive in a lawful way.

Activity 4: Conflict Resolution

Did you ever experience disagreements and conflict with

co-workers? How did you handle the situation? How would you rate

your skills in handling differences of opinion? Please give an

example that illustrates that skill.

Yes, I have experienced disagreements with my co-workers.

One time, my team and I had different ideas about how to complete a

project. Some wanted to finish quickly, while others wanted to focus

more on quality. This created tension in the group.

To handle the situation, I listened to both sides and suggested a

compromise. I proposed a plan where we could work efficiently but also

maintain quality by reviewing the work before submitting it. I made sure

everyone had a chance to share their thoughts, and we found a solution

that worked for all.

I would rate my skills in handling differences of opinion as

strong. I try to stay calm, listen carefully, and help find a middle ground.

An example of this was when two team members had a disagreement

over responsibilities. I talked to both of them separately, understood their

concerns, and then helped divide the tasks fairly. This helped improve

teamwork and avoided further conflict.

Activity 10: Job Interview

A job interview is an interview consisting of a conversation

between a job applicant and a representative of an employer which

is conducted to assess whether the applicant should be hired. How

you answer questions during job interview can have a big impact

on you being hired or accepted as a work immerse. Jot down

questions that you have come across during your first dialogue

with the partner-industry work supervisor or head of office you will

be assigned.

25
- Tell me about yourself, family background, and your dreams in life?

- What are your strengths and weaknesses?

- Why do you want this job position?

- Where do you see yourself five years from now?

- Why should we hire you?

Activity 11:Mock job interview

Here are some questions that you may encounter during an interview.

Try answering them

Interpersonal Skills

1. What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses?

My strengths include adaptability, problem-solving, and strong

communication skills. I can work well under pressure and collaborate

effectively with a team.

My weakness is sometimes over committing to tasks, which can lead to

26
burnout. I’m actively working on setting better boundaries and prioritizing

effectively.

2. What do you do when you know you are right and your boss

disagrees with you? Give me an example?

-I would respectfully present facts and logical reasoning to support my

perspective while remaining open to my boss’s insights. For example, in

a previous project, my manager wanted to implement a strategy that I

believed wouldn’t work. I prepared data and examples to illustrate my

point, and after discussion, we adjusted the plan to find a middle ground.

3. If your colleagues had an opportunity to tell us your primary

strength what would that be? And. Your primary weakness what

would that be?

-They would likely say my primary strength is being a reliable team player

who keeps things organized. My primary weakness might be that I

sometimes take on too much responsibility, which can make delegation

challenging for me.

4. As a component of this position, you may have to work on a team on

certain projects. Describe when you’ve worked on a team before and

what, in your opinion, constitutes an effective team? What do you

expect from others on the team and what do you need from others on

the team?

-I have worked on group projects where collaboration was key to success.

27
An effective team has clear communication, defined roles, and mutual

respect. I expect reliability and commitment from others and need open

communication and feedback to perform well.

5. What do you do when others resist of reject your ideas or actions?

- I would seek to understand their concerns and adjust my approach if

necessary. If I still believe in my idea, I’d provide additional data or

examples to support my perspective while being open to alternative

solutions.

Behavioral

1. Suppose you are in a situation where deadlines and priorities

change frequently and rapidly. How would you handle it?

-I would stay flexible, prioritize tasks, and communicate with my team or

manager to adjust expectations.

2. How do you know when you are stressed? What do you do to de-

stress?

- I know I’m stressed when I feel overwhelmed or lose focus. To de-

stress, I take short breaks, organize tasks, and practice mindfulness

techniques like deep breathing.

3. Tell me about a time when you were a part of a great team.

-In a project, my team successfully completed a challenging task because

we had clear roles and collaborated effectively. I contributed by

organizing tasks and ensuring we stayed on schedule.

4. Suppose your supervisor asked you to get information for them that you

28
know is confidential and he/she should not have access to. What would

you do?

-I would respectfully inform my supervisor that the information is

confidential and suggest appropriate alternatives within ethical

boundaries.

5. Describe a time when you performed a task outside your perceived

responsibilities. What was the task? Why did you perceive it to be

outside your responsibilities? What was the outcome?

- I once stepped in to help a colleague with an urgent client issue, even

though it wasn’t my responsibility. I did it to support the team, and the

client was satisfied, which strengthened our reputation.

Creative Thinking

1. What’s the best book you’ve read in the last year? Please take a

minute and tell us what you

Liked about it.

-Atomic Habits by James Clear. I liked how it breaks down personal and

professional growth into small, actionable steps.

2. What was the most creative thing you did in your last job?

-I designed an efficient system to track progress on multiple projects,

reducing delays and improving team productivity.

3. What is your interpretation of “success?”

29
-Success is continuous growth, achieving personal and professional goals

while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

4. Describe an ideal work environment or “the perfect job.”

-A workplace with clear communication, growth opportunities, and a

supportive team.

5. In what way(s) do you express your personality in the workplace?

- Through my problem-solving approach, collaboration style, and ability to

foster a positive work environment.

Leadership

1. How would you describe an ideal supervisor?

-Someone who provides guidance, trusts their employees, and fosters an

environment of open communication and growth.

2. What strengths did you rely on in your last position to make you

successful in your work?

-Strong organization, adaptability, and the ability to motivate others.

30
Activity 12: Mock interview

During the conduct of the mock job interview, do you think you did well?

- I don’t think I did very well in the mock job interview. I felt nervous, and

sometimes. I struggled to find the right words to answer the questions. I also

think I could have been more confident and clear in my responses.

What are the areas that you think you are good at and areas that needed to

be improved?

- I’m good at staying calm and my patience. However, I need to enhance my

confidence.

Are you more confident now to answer during job interview?

- I feel more confident now than before. The job interview help me to be more

confident now.

My Immersion Diary

50
Day 1: January 13,2025

Today was my first day at the LGU Bais market, assigned to the sea

shells stall. I was excited and curious about how price monitoring works. My

task was to record the prices of different shellfish, which fluctuated based on

supply and demand. Vendors were accommodating, explaining how weather

and fishing conditions affect prices. It was a great learning experience!

51
Day 2: January 14,2025

Since today wasn’t a price monitoring day, I focused on observing the

market. The vendors were busy arranging their products, calling out to

customers, and negotiating prices. I noticed that some customers preferred

buying in bulk, while others bargained for better deals. Understanding how

pricing works in real-time was fascinating.

52
Day 3: January 15,2025

Back to price monitoring today. I noticed some slight changes in prices

compared to Day 1. Some shellfish became more expensive due to limited

supply. I also observed that weekends tend to bring more customers,

influencing price adjustments. Keeping track of these trends is important for

maintaining fair pricing in the market.

53
Day 4:January 16,2025

Without price monitoring today, I spent time engaging with vendors.

Some relied on customer loyalty, while others focused on attracting new

buyers with competitive pricing. I also noticed that some vendors adjusted

prices based on the time of day—offering discounts later to clear out stocks.

These small strategies play a big role in market dynamics.

54
Day 5: January 17,2025

55
I conducted price monitoring again today. The numbers continued to

shift, and I saw a pattern—certain shellfish were consistently in demand,

keeping their prices stable, while others fluctuated more. I also learned how

external factors like fuel prices and transportation costs influence market

rates.

56
Day 6: January 20,2025

Instead of price monitoring, we officially started observing the market

today for our essay. We looked beyond the sea shells stall, analyzing the

overall market setup. It was interesting to see how different sections of the

market operated, from seafood to vegetables. I started jotting down key

points for our study.

57
Day 7: January 21,2025

Today was my last scheduled day for price monitoring. I ensured that all

the data I collected was accurate and up to date. Comparing my records

from Day 1 to today, I could see clear trends in price movements. This

information would be useful for our essay.

58
Day 8: Janaury 22,2025

With price monitoring completed, I focused fully on observing market

behavior. I analyzed how customers made purchasing decisions—some

relied on familiarity with vendors, while others shopped around before

buying. I also noticed how stall placement affected sales, with those in high-

traffic areas attracting more buyers.

59
Day 9: January 23, 2025

With all our gathered data, we started drafting our essay. We discussed

price trends, vendor strategies, and consumer behavior. It was rewarding to

see our observations come together in an analysis of how the local market

functions.

60
Day 10: January 24,2025

We finalized and submitted our essay to the department head. Looking

back, this immersion experience taught me valuable lessons about market

dynamics, price fluctuations, and consumer habits. The hands-on

experience gave me a deeper appreciation for the work vendors do daily.

Other related tasks means taking on tasks outside your role but is

the new market and write an essay about our observation in the new

market.

OOverall, the new market in Bais City is a big improvement from

the old one. It is cleaner, more organized, and more comfortable for both

vendors and customers. Despite these challenges, the market remains

an important part of the community, helping people earn a living and

providing fresh goods to the public

learning’s that you have achieved and lastly you need to evaluate of the

experience gave you more confidence to face what lies ahead.

Make a collage of your work experience.

67
Activity 28:Accomplishment Report

During my 10-day work immersion at LGU Bais City, I was assigned to

the market’s Sea Shells section to help with price monitoring on alternate

days. My main task was to check and record the prices of seafood to make

sure they were correct and updated. I also helped gather data for market

reports and worked with market vendors to understand how price monitoring

helps in fair trading. Through this experience, I improved my skills in

organizing data, paying attention to details, and communicating with others.

I also learned how the local government helps in keeping fair prices for

consumers. This immersion gave me a better understanding of how the

market works and the importance of price monitoring in protecting both

buyers and sellers. I am thankful for this opportunity as it helped me gain

new knowledge and skills.

ACTIVITY 30:IMMERSION HIGHLIGHTS

My work immersion experience was full of learning and growth. One of

the most memorable parts was conducting price monitoring, where I had to

interact with vendors and record price changes. At first, I was shy about

approaching people, but as time went on, I gained confidence in

communicating with them.

Another highlight was the survey we conducted to gather vendor

feedback about the new public market. This helped me understand the

challenges they face and allowed me to practice my interviewing and data-

gathering skills. This immersion helped me appreciate the importance of

price monitoring and the role of the LGU in keeping the market fair and

organized.

71
ACTIVITY 31:REFLECTION

How did the experience change me as a person, and how will it help

me in the future.

My experience in LGU Bais has likely helped me grow in many ways. I

became more responsible by monitoring prices and reporting them correctly.

I also learned how to talk to vendors and understand their struggles, which

made me more patient and understanding.

In the future, this experience will help me in my business and career. I

now have better skills in talking to people, and solving problems. These

skills will make me a better entrepreneur and a more reliable worker in any

job you choose.
