Introduction:
Mahendra Singh Dhoni (born July 7, 1981) is a former Indian cricketer and one of
the greatest captains in cricket history. Known as Captain Cool, he led India to
multiple ICC trophies, including the 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup,
and 2013 Champions Trophy—making him the only captain to win all three major
ICC white-ball tournaments.

Dhoni was an exceptional wicketkeeper-batsman, famous for his calmness under

pressure, finishing ability, and innovative captaincy. He played a crucial role in
India's rise to the No. 1 Test ranking in 2009. In the IPL, he has been the face of
Chennai Super Kings (CSK), leading them to five IPL titles (2010, 2011, 2018,
2021, 2023).

Mahendra Singh Dhoni was born in a middle-class Rajput family in Ranchi, Bihar
(now Jharkhand). His father, Pan Singh, worked in MECON, a public-sector
company, while his mother, Devaki Devi, was a homemaker. Dhoni was initially
interested in football and played as a goalkeeper for his school team. However, his
sports teacher saw his potential as a cricketer and encouraged him to try
wicketkeeping. This marked the beginning of his cricketing journey.

He played for the Central Coal Fields Limited (CCL) team and caught the attention
