ABSTRACT

Implementation of Billing system in Telecom Operator is one of the most


challenging operations that each Telecom Operator has to implement. This
operation is particularly important if the Billing system is used for x-play
services of Telecom Operator . X-play service includes IPTV, VoIP, Internetc
Mobile Telephony.Something what is particularly important to choose the
right IT Service Management standard or process from this standard that is
needed to implement in this system . Most widely used as standard in the
telecommunications industry is eTOM standard and implementation of this
system falls under the strategy and under the Resource Development &
Management Process . This document describes the development of the
Billing system for the x-play service of TelecomOperator by using principles
of the Resource Development Management Process.The conclusion of the
paper should show how successful is the proposed model of Billing system
after its implementation in a Telecom Operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

The requirements for the program to run or for the code to be in effect
are basic and can be found on any simple computer . However some of the
essential hardware and software requirements are described as follows :

HARDWARE:

The hardware required for the program to run is same as the


hardware that can be found on simple personal computer (Desktop, Laptop,
etc,). So there is no such special hardware requirement for the
implementation of this project.

SOFTWARE:
As the C-programming language is used for the coding purpose, the
main software required is also the same.The installation of this software is
no much complicate d and it does not occupy much space . The system
requirement for the program to run is also basic and not hard to be found.

PLATFORM:

C-program supports platforms such as windows 98,Xp,2000,etc.However it


may not support.
INTRODUCTION:
The telephone billing system is mathematical, statistical and logical
processes carriedout on the figures or data obtained from concern
telecommunication customers with a view to producing information billing
status due for each customer which can be displayed as a summary report.
The program thus calculates the telephone
billsautomatically in addition to bill calculation and bill generation.This
report involves a brief description regarding a micro-project for the
course of theacademic semester (CO- 2I). the title of the microproject
is “
Telecom Billing System project in C
CONCLUSION :

Based on the computer program source code and output, customers can now
have a mini statement of bills that contains the customer name, town name
town code , duration of calls and amount immediately after calls . The
implication of this research is in that it could guarantee more security in
GSM calls and also help to strengthen their billing system output . Through
this project we got a quainted with how we can develop a bills of customers
report in c program these type of projects also fulfil many of the given course
outcomes as per the given syllabus of the course . Such type of project helps
to build up our abilities so that we can implement it in the future.
