I. To introduce various debates on modern philosophy, sociology , Psychology
and Anthropology.
II. To introduce various debates on Post- Colonial knowledge scenario
III. To introduce various global and local contexts for interpreting modern
aspects of Urdu literature
IV. To introduce theoretical approaches for the promotion of contemporary
Urdu language and literature

After completing this course, students should be able to:
I. Understand theoretical debates which for evaluating modern Urdu
literary texts
II. Understand contemporary theoretical debates for explaining various

III. Appreciate multiple voices concerning traditional and Modern

14. Attendance Policy
 Attendance must be at least 80 percent to be eligible to appear in the final semester
exams.
 In live lectures, attendance will be marked by the teacher.
