Project Report Guidelines for BBA Final year new
Project work is aimed at preparing you the BBA student, in understanding the application value
of the principles and paradigms you have studied as part of your three year programme.
The objective of this presentation is to offer you guidelines to select a topic of your choice or
choice of the organization where you want to study in consultation with your project guide.
The format for project report given should be carefully followed as it will facilitate your
examiner in the evaluation of this report and you can also show your project report with
confidence and pride.
The project report should be strictly prepared according to the following guidelines:
• Finalization of the Project Report - Student should obtain clearance from their respective
guide before final printing of the final project report.

The Project work will be an original one and an indicative format for preparation is
presented below:
1)Project report should be presented in the following sequence: i) Title page; ii) Student’s
declaration; iii) Supervisor’s certificate; iv) Internship certificate (Company Certificate);
v) Abstract; vi) Acknowledgements; vii) Table of contents; viii) List of tables; ix) List of figures;
x) List of appendices.
2) Chapter Design
Chapter II Literature Review – Studies pertaining to the topic of study – maybe from Journals,
newspapers, text books or internet – Theoretical framework
Chapter III Company Profile (Optional/depending on the study) – A brief overview of the
organization being studied
Chapter IV Data Analysis and Interpretation – The most important Chapter that consists of the
data analysis and interpretation using statistical tools mentioned in Chapter I
Chapter V Summary, Major Findings, Conclusions and Suggestions – A summary of the major
findings, the student’s own observations/comments after completion of study and suggestions to
the company if any.
