ACTIVITY No. 8
METHODS USED IN FORGERY

Instructions:
1. Request a sample genuine specimen signature from your seatmate.
2. Ask your seatmate to write his signature on a clean white bond paper for tracing process
and at the left box provided on this worksheet for simulated process;
3. Observe and study the forms, shape and the general picture of the signature; and
4. Forge the signature of your seatmate using the following methods:
a. Traced forgery
b. Simulated forgery

Objectives:
1. To be able to distinguish various methods of forgeries;
2. To assess, evaluate and compare forged signature and genuine signature;
3. To determine the distinction between the forged and genuine signature; and
4. To accustomed with the nature of forge signature against genuine signature for prompt
verification.

Materials/Equipment:

4. Pen without ink or any pointed object to be used for indent traced forgeries
