Conditional Sentences
Conditional sentences are also known as conditional clauses or 'if clauses'.
They are used to denote that 'the action in the main clause (without if) can only take place if a certain
condition (in the clause with if) is fulfilled'.
Eg: 1.You will succeed provided you work hard.

2. Open Conditional Sentence
Structure: (1) P.S: If + Subject + Verb1 + Object, + Subject + Will + Verb1 + Object.
(2) N.S-1: If + Subject + Don’t/Doesn’t + Verb1 + Object, + Subject + Won’t + Verb1 + Object.
(2) N.S-2: Unless + Subject + Verb1 + Object, + Subject + Won’t + Verb1 + Object.

eg: 1. If Children drench in the rain , they will catch a cold.
3. Unreal Conditional Sentence:
Structure: (1) P.S-1: If + Subject + Verb2 + Object, + Subject + Would + Verb1 + Object.
(2) P.S-2: If + Sub-1 + Were + Sub-2,+ Subject + Would + Verb1 + Object.
Structure: (1) P.S-1: If + Subject + had + Verb3 + Object, + Subject + Would have + Verb3 + Object.
(2) P.S-2: Had+ Subject + Verb3 + Object, + Subject + Would have + Verb3 + Object.
