Agenda:
The monitoring focused on reviewing the performance of Grade 3 learners in the Early
Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Assessment (ELLNA) and Grade 6 learners in the National
Achievement Test (NAT). The implementation and effectiveness of the 5-5-10 strategy were
discussed to enhance learner learning outcomes. The session also analyzed low results in the
national data, reviewed the three-year Learning Outcome Assessment (LOA) results, and
checked the Daily Lesson Log (DLL) content for alignment with learning goals. Additionally,
the alignment of assessments, including formative, summative, and quarterly assessments, was
examined. Guided and support activities, test results, and least mastered skills were reviewed to
determine necessary interventions and best practices. Pupil outputs were checked and explained,
and actions taken for non-numerate learners were assessed.
