[Removing the Master Making Unit]

(2) Remove the Left top cover, Rear top cover and Rear cover.
(Refer to 1-5-4, 1-5-5, 1-5-7)

(1) Remove screws (M4 x 8 screw; 4 pcs), and remove the Left top cover.

(3) Remove the Master cover upper and lower. (Refer to 11-2-1, 11-
2-2)
11-2-1. Removing the Master Cover Upper
(1) Switch off the machine power.
(2) Remove the Master cover upper together with the two Springs. (M3 x 8 screw; 2 pcs)

(6) Remove the Operation panel unit and unplug the Connector. (Refer
to 11-2-11)
(7) Unplug the six Connectors and unhook the two Reuse band.
(Refer to 11-2-11)
(8) Remove the Panel lower cover with pulling out the Wire harness.
(Refer to 11-2-11)
(5) Remove the Operation panel unit and unplug the Connector. (M4 x 8 screw; 3 pcs)

(6) Remove the Snap ring, the Spring and Metal bushing.
(7) Slide off the another Metal bushing from the TPH bracket and remove the Thermal print head assembly.

< Precaution in Reassembly >
(1) When installing the Write pulse motor assembly back on the machine, screw on the assembly on the machine
loosely. Then push the whole assembly to the paper eject direction to apply tension on the timing belt. With
adequate tension applied on the timing belt, securely tighten the mounting screws.

(15) Remove the Write roller and Assist roller. (Refer to 11-2-9)
11-2-9. Removing the Write Roller & Assist Roller
(1) Switch off the machine power, remove the Front cover and Master making unit front cover. (Refer to 1-5-1, 1-5-
2)
(2) Remove the Write pulse motor assembly. (Refer to 11-2-5)
(3) Remove the Thermal print head assembly. (Refer to 11-2-7)
(For prevent the damage to the Thermal print head assembly.)
(4) Remove the two Snap rings and pull out the Master guide flap assembly.

(7) Pull out the Write roller through the hole on the front side frame.
(8) Remove the Rear cover and swing open the Power supply unit. (Refer to 1-6-2)
(9) Pull out the Assist roller through the hole on the front side frame. (Plastic E-ring; 1 pc)

(19) Unplug the four Connectors and remove the Ground terminal.

(20) Make the Wire harnesses free from the Wire saddles and pulling the
Wire harnesses out through the rear frame.
