Language final exam

Final mark ___/150

1. Read the text:

Last weekend, Sam and Lara went to the park. There were many trees and flowers
everywhere. In the middle of the park, there was a small lake with clear, blue water. Sam
said, “Look! There are ducks swimming in the water!” There were also some birds flying in
the sky.

They sat on a bench near the lake and had a picnic. Lara
brought sandwiches, and Sam brought juice and cookies. “This
is delicious!” said Lara. While eating, they talked about their
favorite activities. Lara said, “I always play football after school
with my friends.” Sam answered, “I like playing video games,
but I also ride my bike on weekends.”

After finishing their picnic, they decided to walk around

the park. There was a playground full of children laughing and
playing. Some kids were on the swings, and others were climbing a big slide. “That looks
fun!” said Lara.

Later, they found a small garden with colorful flowers. There were yellow roses, red
tulips, and purple violets. “Wow, there is so much to see here!” said Sam.

When the sun started to set, they went back to the lake. There were not so many
ducks now, but the water looked beautiful under the orange sky. Lara smiled and said, “This
park is amazing. Let’s come back again next weekend!”
