software. The one day course is for new and returning users, or managers that need a basic
level of understanding to interact with their technical staff.
The course introduces MICROMINE’s key features by working through a familiar scenario:
A newly acquired exploration project requires the software user to import and assess the
data in order to make recommendations on future drilling.
Key features that will be introduced include data entry and importing, visual integration of
different 2D and 3D data using the Vizex (Visual Explorer) interface, generating drillhole
sections and producing printed output.

What will Upon completion of the course, you will know how to:
I learn? • Use the MICROMINE user interface and its various tools
• Manage MICROMINE projects
• Create and manipulate MICROMINE files
• Validate drillhole and general purpose data
• Understand and use filters to subset the data of interest
• Create and plot a multi-layered view using Vizex
• Create and plot a drillhole cross section

Who is it • New users of MICROMINE

suitable for? • Previous MICROMINE users who haven’t used the software for an extended period of time
• Managers who need to interact with their technical staff
