"Hello everyone, and thank you for watching. I’m here to introduce Slick and Shine Detailing,
a business we’re building to make car care easier, more affordable, and more convenient
than ever.

Our mission is simple: We’re all about helping people keep their cars in top condition, with
the option to have it right at their door step. So, whether it’s a quick wash, interior cleaning,
or a full exterior polish, Slick and Shine has them covered.

Now, to make sure our business stands out and stays profitable, we didn’t just jump in. We
used strategies that are tried and tested by some of the biggest names in the industry—
companies right here in the Philippines who have used these strategies to build highly
successful brands.

Let me break down a few of these strategies for you:

First, we conducted a SWOT analysis to get a clear picture of our strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities, and threats. This is the same approach San Miguel Corporation uses to keep
a competitive edge across its industries. By identifying our strengths and understanding our
challenges, we’re better prepared to grow successfully.

We also used the Business Model Canvas to structure our business in a way that truly aligns
with customer needs. Grab Philippines used this tool to evolve from a simple ride-hailing app
into a multi-service platform that’s now essential for so many people. By mapping our
business model, we’re creating a foundation that’s flexible and ready to expand as our
customer base grows.

Another essential tool was the Value Proposition Canvas . This allowed us to zero in on
what our customers truly value. Take Mercury Drug as an example; they’ve perfected this
by focusing on customer accessibility and affordability. Just like Mercury Drug, we aim to
build loyalty by being reliable and convenient.

We’re also using Lean six sigma’s DMAIC to keep our operations lean and efficient. This is
what helps Philippine Airlines stay on schedule and reduce delays, enhancing customer
satisfaction. For Slick and Shine , DMAIC ensures we’re always providing quality service on
time, which is essential for gaining customer trust and building repeat business.

We chose Slick and Shine Detailing’s location strategically—high vehicle traffic and right next
to other auto service shops. These shops handle general maintenance, but none offer
premium detailing like we do, making our services complementary instead of competitive.
Our spot is also accessible for nearby customers, making it convenient to include detailing in
their routine car care. While there are competitors in the broader area, we’ll stand out with
top-quality service to build a strong, trusted brand.
To understand customer needs better, we also conducted a survey, which we’ll discuss next.

We asked the community some important questions, and the results are in!

The feedback confirms that Slick and Shine Detailing is meeting a real need for vehicle
owners in Cabanatuan.

To ensure accuracy, we calculated our sample size using Slovin’s formula with a 10% margin.
With 42,110 registered vehicles in Cabanatuan, we targeted 100 respondents, Here’s what
they had to say:

beat a genius without a plan. Keeping this in mind, our team used the following techniques
to create a strategic plan and work toward building a successful business.

First we have SWOT Analysis. We used SWOT analysis to understand our strengths,
weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, so we can create a smarter strategy to grow and
improve our business.

Pareto’s Principle o 80/20 Rule sinasabi lang dito na ang 80% kita or income ay nanggagaling lang sa
20% ng efforts o resources. Ibig sabihin, hindi mo kailangang mag-focus sa lahat ng aspeto ng negosyo
—hanapin mo lang kung ano o sino ang nagbibigay ng pinaka-malaking impact at doon ka maglagay
ng effort.

Ito yung mga loyal na customers na madalas magpa-home service.
Sila yung nagbabayad ng premium packages o regular na gumagamit ng services natin.

Alam namin na minsan, medyo pricey ang detailing services, lalo na kung may extra services.
Tsaka it takes time, which can be a hassle for people with busy schedules. May mga hidden
charges pa for services na hindi malinaw sa customers. Then of course, hindi natin
kontrolado ang weather. Minsan, kahit freshly detailed na ang car, after ilang oras, nagiging
madumi ulit dahil sa ulan o alikabok. Lastly, hindi lahat ng service centers friendly or
maganda ang customer experience, which can be a turn-off.

Syempre, may mga gains din naman sila na gusto makuha.


Kapag malinis ang car nila, hindi lang for looks—masarap din syang gamitin. Mas magaan sa
pakiramdam at fresh, at of course, nakakatulong ito para mapanatili ang condition ng car.
Pag alam nila na well-maintained ang car nila, may peace of mind sila at masaya silang mag-
drive.

we offer complete interior and exterior cleaning. We also provide ceramic coating for extra
protection para sa mga scratch and rust. We use high-quality car shampoo, wax, and
fragrances para hindi lang malinis pero mabango pa. Meron din kaming mobile detailing
services para mas madali at convenient sa customers.

We make sure na mabilis at efficient ang service, para hindi masyadong ma-abala ang
customers. Transparent din kami sa pricing sa app,sa website at sa mismon shop, so walang
hidden charges or surprises. Gumagamit kami ng weather-resistant coatings para mas
tumagal ang results kahit anong weather. At importantly, we train our staff to be friendly
and approachable, para masaya ang customer from start to finish.
