MindQuest 2025 Rule book

Event: Collage Competition

Rules:

● Team should comprise two to three members.

● Event will take place on 20th March. Teams need to report at 9 am in Tirpude institute
of Management Education, Building No. 1, 2nd Floor.

● Team should prepare a collage of minimum 6 to maximum 8 original photographs using


Canva. They may add taglines for each photo.

● All photographs should be original, captured by mobile phones or cameras.

● Originality of Photos will be checked by the organizers. Team will be qualified to present
only if all photos are originally captured by the team.

● Team has to submit / email all photos separately along with the collage on email ID:
[email protected] or by WhatsApp on 9423565101 till 18th March 2025, 1 pm.

● Students can choose any of the themes given below for making collage.

● Themes : Reflections of the society / Road Realities: The Traffic Tale of Nagpur city /
celebrating cultural heritage of Nagpur city/Underrated heroes - Workers of the city

● Presentation time for each team will be 5 minutes for explanation followed by Q&A

● Judging criteria – clarity of concept, balance and composition, color harmony,


uniqueness of photos captured, hierarchy and focal points, space and flow, telling a
story, creativity , relevance to theme , impact of the message and presentation

● The judge's decision will be final.

● Entry fee : Rs 150 per team

Event: Industry Analysis

Rules:

● Team should comprise two to four Participants.

● Event will take place on 20th March. Teams need to report at 9 am in Tirpude institute
of Management Education, Building No. 1, 2nd Floor.

● Participants will be allotted with Industry with a first come first serve basis. Team should
prepare a presentation on the Industry allotted to them.

● Each team will get 6 minutes for presentation followed by Q &A.

● If there are multiple sub themes or topics to choose from, participants can select

● Analysis Criteria:
a. Market trends, competitive landscape, and key players
b. Opportunities and challenges within the industry
c. Contribution to GDP
d. Regulatory, technological, or geopolitical influences
● Participants must use reliable and credible sources (e.g., academic journals, industry
reports, credible news outlets).Proper references should be included at the end of the
presentation.

● Judging criteria will be: Relevance and Depth of Analysis, Clarity and Organization,
Creativity and Innovation, Quality of Presentation

● Kindly mail your Powerpoint presentation to [email protected] or by


WhatsApp on 9423565101 on or before 18th March, 1 pm

● The judge's decision will be final.

● Entry Fee: Rs 150 per team

EVENT: Web Page Designing

Rules:

● Teams may consist of 2 to 3 members.

● Event will take place on 20th March. Teams need to report at 9 am in Tirpude institute
of Management Education, Building No. 1, 2nd Floor.

● Theme of the web page will be given to each team at 10 am on the day of the event
(20th March). Participants will get 2 Hours time to design the web page.

● Students will be developing their web page in the assigned computer lab.

● The design and content must be original. Plagiarism or copying existing templates is
prohibited.

● Technical Specifications:The web page must be responsive, cross-browser compatible,


and use HTML, CSS and optionally JavaScript. Use of any framework or CMS should be
mentioned.

● Judging Criteria: Design, Functionality, Aesthetics: Visual appeal, creativity, and


adherence to the theme, Usability: Ease of navigation, responsiveness, and interactive
elements, Code Quality: Clean, well-commented, and organized code, Originality &
Innovation: Unique design elements and creative use of technology.

● The decision of the judges will be final and binding to the participants.

● Registration Fee: Rs. 150 per team.

Event: Copywriting for an Advertisement

Rules:

● Team should comprise of 2 participants.

● Event will take place on 20th March. Teams need to report at 9 am in Tirpude institute
of Management Education, Building No. 1, 2nd Floor.

● Each team will get a product with a fictional brand name by 10 am on the date of the
event (20th March) and students will get 2 hours to prepare their script.

● Students will not be allowed to use mobile phones or any other electronic gadgets. They
will be provided with a pen and paper to write their script.

● Students have to prepare a script considering “radio” as the medium of advertisement.

● The script should include : Slogan, script with a message, tagline and a jingle.

● Language of the script should be English. Some Hindi words can be used if needed for
the script.

● Judging criteria: Creativity in slogan, tagline and jingle, language of script and
understanding of the audience.

● The decision of the judges will be final and binding to the participants.

● Participants are instructed to avoid any content that could be seen as discriminatory or
offensive. Such a team will be disqualified.

● Entry fee: Rs 150 per team

EVENT: Group Discussion Competition

Rules:

● Entry for an Individual student.

● Event will take place on 20th March. Teams need to report at 12.15 pm in Tirpude
institute of Management Education, Building No. 1, 2nd Floor.

● A team of students would be formed on the spot randomly.

● The participants need to put forward their points along with maintaining the
professional decorum.

● One team would be given 6 minutes for the discussion followed by 2 minutes to
conclude the discussion.

● Topics for GD : 1. English must remain the official language of India. 2. AI is killing
creativity 3. Is India ready for Electric Vehicles? 4. Portrayal of women in Indian cinema
5. Impact of westernization on India

● Students need to prepare for all the topics mentioned above. They will have to
participate in any of the topics given to them on the spot.

● Judging criteria : Knowledge of the subject matter, use of data /evidence,


communication skills, teamwork abilities and behaviour, ability to lead

● The decision of the judges will be final and binding to the participants.

● Entry fees : Rs 50 per student.
