Present simple, adverbs of frequency and time expressions.

Present simple:

We use present simple when we talk about routines and habits.

When we make affirmative sentences we will follow the following structure:

I + verb + complement

You + verb + complement


He + verb –s + complement

She + verb –s + complement

It + verb –s + complement

We + verb + complement

You + verb + complement


They + verb + complement

For negative sentences:

Expressions of frequency:

Usually placed at the beginning or end of the sentence

It is usually placed after the "verb to be" and usually before the main verb.
