Television has destroyed communication among friends and family.

Some people think that television is responsible for destroying communication between friends and
family, I don’t agree with this statement. Television helps us share our interests with other people and
give us things to discuss with each other.

To begin with, there are many programs on TV that people can discuss, like films, news and game
shows. After watching this kind of programs, we can share our opinions with others and hear from them
too. Furthermore, we don’t feel left out in a conversation about events that are occurring right now,
because we can hear about them in the news.

In addition, we can use TV to follow our hobbies and interests. People who are interested in specific
things, they can watch TV programs about them. People can also find people with same interests easily,
because they can talk about television almost everywhere.

Finally, television can bring people together. Many different types people can feel relatable to a certain
problem and they will feel represented in the society. People can also find new friends who have similar
experiences.

In conclusion, television is a great tool. It helps people find things to discuss and communicate about,
which brings them closer.
