All you need to know about Velocity Verge:

The objective is to race the vehicle over a designated arena while maintaining
precision, accuracy, and adherence to the rules and criterion of speed and
covering the distance in the given time. The clock is ticking and counts the
second at which your vehicle crosses Start and Stop points marked on the
arena.

Guidelines:
● Height Limit: Maximum height of the vehicle is 12 cm.
● Track Dimensions: Track will be protected with barricades.
● Length: 5 meters.
● Width: 1 meter (the vehicle must not deviate beyond this width).
● Time: The vehicle must complete the 5-meter track in exactly 10 seconds.
● Judging: Timed using laser posts at the start and end of the track. Precision
is key.
Stages and Timelines
Competition format:
● Teams must present their vehicles for inspection before the competition begins.
● Judges will verify that the vehicle meets the height, propulsion, and flag/post
requirements. Vehicles that do not pass the inspection will be given time to modify
their design (if feasible) within the allotted time.
● Each team will attempt the challenge once in this round.
● The run will be timed, and judges will note deviations, if any, from the track
boundaries.
● Teams will receive their scores after this round.

Vehicle Specifications:
● Height : 12 cm (excluding the post (height = 5 cm, diameter = 5mm) ,laser opaque
material) refers to the model given below for Arena
● Control Mechanism: The vehicle must move autonomously or with pre-set
mechanisms (manual control prohibited). or pre-programmed designs are allowed.
● Propulsion: Any form of propulsion (motors, springs, wind-up mechanisms,
gravity-driven, etc.) is acceptable, as long as the vehicle meets the time and track
constraints.
● Path Accuracy: The vehicle must stay within the 1-meter width. Deviating
beyond this disqualifies the attempt.
● Post for Laser Detection: A post or flag must be attached to the vehicle to
ensure the laser light accurately cuts it at the start and finish points.
● The post/flag height should be height=5 cm, diameter=5mm.
● The post must not extend beyond the vehicle's width or interfere with its
stability.

All you need to know about Engineering Monopoly -

Engineering Monopoly is a strategic board game where players collect
mechanical components instead of properties to complete an assembly. The
required assembly is shown for 15 -20 sec before the game. Players buy,
trade, and assemble parts while facing challenges. The first to complete the
system wins!

Rounds:
Round 1 - Board Game Round
Round 2 - Auction Round
Round 3 - Assembly Round
Duration: 1 hour (throughout innovation)
Rules :
Objective: Win by gaining maximum assembly parts and completing the
assembly in the shortest time.
Preparation: Players will be asked to draw chits from a bowl. This will decide
their ‘team token’ and ‘sequence number’ among all players. The
Play: Teams will start on the board from ‘GO’. Sequentially, teams will roll the
dice and move forward on the board in the direction of the arrow the number
of spaces indicated by the dice. After one team has completed their play, the
next team will roll the dice and continue forward.

Monetary block:
If the team lands on the Monetary block, the team has to pay the required
amount to earn the component card. If the block on which the team lands
are already owned by another team the players will have to pay assigned
rent to the owners of the monetary block. When a team acquires all
monetary blocks of the same colored component card only then the team
will receive the final component. If not, teams will have to trade among
each other at the end of the game to receive the desired component

Task block:
If the team lands on Task block, players have to complete the assigned task
in minimum time to earn the component. If the Task on the block on which
the team lands was already completed by the previous team, then the
team that completes the task in the shortest duration of time will receive
the component.

Chance:
When the team lands on chance, the player will get a chance to spin the
wheel of fortune and get what the pointer on the wheel tells.
Jail:
Team ends up in jail when they land on ‘Go to Jail’ on the board or when
the chance wheel indicates ‘GO to Jail’. The team can get out of jail by:
Rolling doubles on any of the team's next two turns. If successful they may
proceed to move forward the spaces indicated by the dice. Using the ‘Get
out of Jail’ lifeline from the chance wheel if they have it. Paying fine before
rolling dice on either of the next two turns. The board game concludes
when the set timer runs out/the selected number of dice rolls is
completed.

Auction Round:
The teams will then come together and a round of auction will begin. In this
round, different teams can make deals to conduct an exchange of
assembly parts. Also, bidding will be held for any component that was not
procured by teams during board play.

Elimination Criteria:
At the end of the auction round, 2 teams that are left with the least the
amount of money from the lot will be eliminated.

Assembly Round:
This round will be time-bound. Participants will have to construct an
assembly out of acquired components. Assembly should be finished in the
least amount of time.

Dive into this exciting debugging challenge designed for teams of two! Each
teammate alternates solving PDFs, identifying errors in code snippets to form
a passcode that unlocks the next PDF. With 16 errors to locate and only 120
minutes on the clock, teamwork and attention to detail are key. The first three
teams to unlock all PDFs and complete the challenge will emerge victorious.

Rules:
Each team must have exactly 2 members.
Only fully completed PDFs will be considered; partial submissions are
invalid.
In case of a tie, the team with the fastest correct submission wins.
The coordinators' decision will be final.
Internet access is strictly prohibited.
Use of mobile phones or any other electronic devices is not allowed.
Any use of unfair means will result in immediate disqualification.
Gameplay:
The event involves teams of two, where each participant alternately
receives PDFs to solve.
For example : Participant 1 will work on PDFs 1, 3, 5, and 7.
Participant 2 will work on PDFs 2, 4, 6, and 8. Each PDF contains two code
snippets, and each snippet has one error (logical or syntactical). The task is
to find the exact line numbers of the errors. The line numbers, when
combined, forms the passcode to unlock the next PDF for the teammate.
For instance, if the errors are on line 7 and line 5, the passcode would be
0705. Progress alternates between teammates in a sequential manner, and
both participants must collaborate to identify all 16 errors (2 per PDF)
within 120 minutes. The first three teams to correctly identify all errors
and unlock all PDFs will be declared the winners.
