Tell about a time you worked with the children and the elderly.
How do you feel in the situation?
How do you think different generations can learn from each other?

A few months ago, I had the opportunity to volunteer at a community center where
I worked with both children and elderly people. My main responsibility was
organizing activities for the kids, such as storytelling, simple arts and crafts, and
interactive games. The children were very energetic and eager to participate, which
made the experience fun and engaging. At the same time, I also spent time with the
elderly, helping them with small tasks, listening to their life stories, and simply
keeping them company.
In that situation, I felt really happy and fulfilled. Seeing the joy on the children’s
faces as they played and learned new things made me realize how much even small
efforts can make a big difference. On the other hand, talking to the elderly was a
touching experience. They shared valuable life lessons, and I felt honored to hear
about their experiences. It gave me a deep sense of gratitude and appreciation for
both youth and old age.
I strongly believe that different generations can learn a lot from each other. The
elderly have a wealth of knowledge and life experience that younger people can
learn from, such as patience, wisdom, and traditional values. Meanwhile, younger
generations bring fresh perspectives, creativity, and technological skills that can
help older people adapt to modern life. When both generations spend time together,
they create a meaningful exchange of ideas and build strong connections that
benefit everyone.
Overall, this experience taught me the value of kindness, empathy, and the
importance of bridging the generation gap. It’s something I will always remember,
and I hope to have more chances to participate in similar activities in the future

Tell about a time you faced a challenge

Is it easy to ask a question?
Some subjects are more difficult for many people.
What do you think?
One time I faced a big challenge was during my final exams last semester. I had to
study English, and the workload was overwhelming. I also put a lot of pressure on
myself to do well, which made me feel stressed and exhausted.
At that point, I realized that asking for help was necessary. I reached out to my
teacher and some classmates, and they explained the difficult topics to me. At first,
I felt a bit shy and hesitant because I didn’t want to seem weak, but once I asked, I
found that people were willing to help. In the end, I passed the exam with a good
score, and I learned that asking questions is actually a smart thing to do, not a sign
of weakness.
I think asking questions can be difficult for some people, especially if they are
afraid of being judged. However, it is a great way to learn and improve.
Some subjects are definitely more difficult for many people. For example, subjects
like math, physics, or chemistry can be challenging because they require logical
thinking and problem-solving skills. On the other hand, some people find literature
or history difficult because they involve a lot of memorization and interpretation. It
really depends on the person’s strengths and interests. Overall, facing challenges is
a part of life, and we grow by overcoming them.

Tell about a time you put a lot of effort.

How do you feel when you are busy?
If people work less, will their lives become better?
One time I put a lot of effort into something was when I was preparing for my final
exams. I had multiple subjects to study, and the pressure was intense. I spent hours
every day reviewing materials, taking notes, and practicing exercises. Even though
I felt exhausted at times, I kept pushing myself because I wanted to achieve good
results. In the end, my hard work paid off, and I passed my exams with high scores.
This experience taught me that dedication and perseverance always lead to success.
When I am busy, I feel both stressed and productive. On one hand, being busy
keeps me focused and gives me a sense of purpose. I enjoy the feeling of
accomplishing tasks and making progress. However, if I have too many things to
do at once, I sometimes feel overwhelmed. In those situations, I try to stay
organized by making a to-do list and prioritizing important tasks. Taking short
breaks also helps me manage stress and stay efficient.
If people work less, their lives might improve in some ways, but it depends on the
situation. Working hard is important, but taking time to rest and enjoy life is just as
necessary for long-term happiness.

Tell about a time you bought something expensive.

How do you feel when you learn something new?
It is never too old to learn new things? Do you agree or disagree? What do you
think?
One time I bought something expensive was when I purchased my shoes. I had
been saving money for months because I wanted a high-quality phone with a good
camera and fast performance. When I finally had enough, I carefully researched
different models before making my decision. Although it was costly, I felt satisfied
because it was a useful investment. I use my phone for studying, communicating,
and entertainment, so I think it was worth the price.
When I learn something new, I feel excited and motivated. It gives me a sense of
achievement and makes me more confident. However, sometimes learning
something difficult can be frustrating. In those moments, I remind myself to be
patient and keep practicing. I strongly agree that it is never too late to learn new
things. No matter how old we are, learning helps us grow, stay active, and adapt to
changes in life. Many older people continue to study new skills, such as learning a
new language, using technology, or even picking up a new hobby.

Tell about a time you started an English course.

(Tell me about a time when you tried hard to achieve something
How do you feel when you succeed?
How can people be encouraged to achieve hard things?)

One time I started an English course was when I realized that improving my
English skills was essential for my future. I enrolled in a course to help me achieve
a B2 Aptis certificate. At first, it was challenging because I wasn’t confident in my
pronunciation and grammar. However, I practiced every day, listened to English
podcasts to improve my vocabulary, and read more English books to deepen my
understanding of the language. Over time, I saw great improvement, which made
me more confident and motivated.
When I succeed in something, I feel extremely happy and fulfilled. Success gives
me confidence and encourages me to set higher goals. For example, when I passed
an important English test after months of studying, I felt relieved and proud. It
showed me that hard work pays off, and that feeling of accomplishment is very
rewarding.
People can be encouraged to achieve difficult things by setting clear goals and
breaking tasks into smaller steps. Encouragement from friends, family, and
teachers also plays an important role. Additionally, staying motivated through
rewards and self-discipline helps people stay on track. The key is to remain
determined and believe that consistent effort leads to success.
