Speaking Final Lv4
I have a nuclear family. There are three of us: my parents and me. We enjoy
spending time together. My parents are very supportive and always encourage me
to do my best. They are teachers, so they know a lot and help me learn many good
things. We love spending time together, especially sharing meals and watching TV.
Tell about a time you worked with the children and the elderly.
How do you feel in the situation?
How do you think different generations can learn from each other?
A few months ago, I had the opportunity to volunteer at a community center where
I worked with both children and elderly people. My main responsibility was
organizing activities for the kids, such as storytelling, simple arts and crafts, and
interactive games. The children were very energetic and eager to participate, which
made the experience fun and engaging. At the same time, I also spent time with the
elderly, helping them with small tasks, listening to their life stories, and simply
keeping them company.
In that situation, I felt really happy and fulfilled. Seeing the joy on the children’s
faces as they played and learned new things made me realize how much even small
efforts can make a big difference. On the other hand, talking to the elderly was a
touching experience. They shared valuable life lessons, and I felt honored to hear
about their experiences. It gave me a deep sense of gratitude and appreciation for
both youth and old age.
I strongly believe that different generations can learn a lot from each other. The
elderly have a wealth of knowledge and life experience that younger people can
learn from, such as patience, wisdom, and traditional values. Meanwhile, younger
generations bring fresh perspectives, creativity, and technological skills that can
help older people adapt to modern life. When both generations spend time together,
they create a meaningful exchange of ideas and build strong connections that
benefit everyone.
Overall, this experience taught me the value of kindness, empathy, and the
importance of bridging the generation gap. It’s something I will always remember,
and I hope to have more chances to participate in similar activities in the future
One time I started an English course was when I realized that improving my
English skills was essential for my future. I enrolled in a course to help me achieve
a B2 Aptis certificate. At first, it was challenging because I wasn’t confident in my
pronunciation and grammar. However, I practiced every day, listened to English
podcasts to improve my vocabulary, and read more English books to deepen my
understanding of the language. Over time, I saw great improvement, which made
me more confident and motivated.
When I succeed in something, I feel extremely happy and fulfilled. Success gives
me confidence and encourages me to set higher goals. For example, when I passed
an important English test after months of studying, I felt relieved and proud. It
showed me that hard work pays off, and that feeling of accomplishment is very
rewarding.
People can be encouraged to achieve difficult things by setting clear goals and
breaking tasks into smaller steps. Encouragement from friends, family, and
teachers also plays an important role. Additionally, staying motivated through
rewards and self-discipline helps people stay on track. The key is to remain
determined and believe that consistent effort leads to success.
