Fred: Hey Tim!!


Tim: Fred?? Is that you?
Fred: Yep, guilty! What’s up? I haven’t seen you for ages, mate!
Tim: Oh, yes, I moved to Paris when I graduated.
Fred: Awesome! How do you like it?
Tim: I love it. The Mrs loves it too! We’re so happy!
A woman walks over to Tim’s side, takes him by the arm, and smiles.
Fred: Wendy? I can’t believe you two lovebirds ended up getting married!
The woman stops smiling. Tim coughs.
Tim: Fred, let me introduce you to my wife, Nina.
Fred: Oh! I’m terribly sorry… I always put my foot in my mouth! Nice to meet you, Nina.
Nina: Nice to meet you. too. And please, don’t worry. It happens to the best of us.
Tim: Fred and I were pretty tight at secondary school, but then we lost touch, sweetie.
Nina smiles and says something in French.
Tim: So? What do you say, Fred?
Fred: I’m sorry, I didn’t quite catch what she said.
Nina: Oh, forgive me! That was French… but we are back in London now. I need to speak in
English!
